Hi guys, sorry, but I will miss this race too. I just came home after 8 hours at the wheel of my car. I don't want to see any wheel in front of my eyes (until tomorrow).

That was a shame, I was having some good battles and probably had the pace to finish maybe 5th if all had gone well.

However I had an accident which resulted in 22 minutes of repair (thanks RF2) but I decided to finish anyway and just try and hot lap.

I must of done about ten hours of practice for this one (being on holiday this week) so hurts a bit but that's the way it goes sometimes I guess.

WD to Ricardo on the championship, maybe we'll re-visit these cars again in the future.

To answer your question John, the design I did myself, it's based around the HP Williams BMW's. I then added on the various elements that this years cars have like the number plates, etc. Really happy with it in the end, just a shame I couldn't get the results I wanted.

Oh and I did the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 2h 10s so not too bad, wanted to finish in 2hrs but I was a bit worried about a small injury and I just didn't want to make it worse. Ran the whole distance though so happy with that

But still, it has some bugs ... i think (22m repair... is way too much)

Ohh and ... i prefer the 2012 cars..
DRS.. is tricky, and the option tires in the 2013 cars... and just can drive with them

 

Yeah. I knew the damage was bad but when I stopped and it said 1400 seconds to repair I knew I was in for a long wait! Lol

So I just shut down the engine (and went and got a drink...)

I agree it's a great mod but as you say the two things that puzzle me are the damage repairs and the fueling time.

Damage could be controlled by just putting it to say 10-15% on the server (not realistic i know but a solution) but refuelling is down to the modding team I would imagine.

I did a few 55 minute races as practice during the week. Even 5 gallons resulted in a 60 second wait.

Maybe I'll try the AC version and see if they've done the same for refuelling on that one.

Anyway I'm not complaining to much. The cars are great fun to drive and I was enjoying the racing until my silly mistake. Still going to do some AI races using the mod.

Time to start running laps for the endurance league!

Using the porsche 977 from apex gt3 mod... you could make a GREAT Porsche cup
