Round 2 Lausitzring

    On the championship page the track length is said to be 4.35km. So am assuming it is the long one.

    For our race we will actually be using the track layout that the DTM used in the RW, which is the Short course measuring 2.119 mi/3.41 km. The long layout referred to by Larry is, I believe, known as the the GP course, whilst the layout referred to by Michael is the GP with Oval Turn 1 course. So you are both correct, sort of :rolleyes:

    The track length seen on the Championship page is a default track length, used for race distance calculations for SRO statistics.

    Hiya,

    Some time ago (ok a long time ago) @John lock asked me to convert an existing RF1 DTM livery over to these cars.

    Took me some time to get round to it due to work and being busy at home but I finally finished it today :)

    Looks pretty cool I think

    I've been a bit cheeky as John asked me to use an old Times New Roman Style Logo, well I played around and did an update for it so I hope he likes this one! lol

    I'd love to do these cars again, I can't do all the races as I'm at work on alternate weekends but I'll do as many as I can.

    In the meantime I'm probably going to drop out of the two Indycar leagues. Just don't have time to practice and these cars require some dedication to get the best out of them.

    Thanks matey, I've been a bit snowed under with requests just recently but this one was fun to do, something original rather than a straight copy.

    My next project is gonna possibly take some time. Many years ago I did the Crocodile Audi livery on an R8, looking at the shape of the car I reckon I can do the livery on the earlier version of the R18 Car, it has a similar nose section on it. It will be for Assetto Corsa at the moment.

    I still have my 1/18 scale model of the original car so lots of reference photos coming up! lol

    I was practicing the long version last night and it's a lot of fun. The event page is showing 4.53km and that's probably the fault of the big dummy that set this up :)

    So I can choose either the 2012 or the 2013 spec car?

    We will be using the 3.478 km GP Short circuit. And yes John you can select either car but I don't think 2012 has DRS. Not sure Lausitzring has DRS zones.

    well i got to the choose car page and it was blank so i went in anyway but it apears i may have been in a clio and it was fixed setup

    No problems with the server Nick, lots of other guys have been on in the last couple of days. Suggest you unsubscribe the car mod in and then re-subscribe again.
