AMS & rF1 series have pretty much monopolised Wednesday evening for a long time, so I decided to free up those slots for other Admins to potentially use for other series. At SRO we need to constantly try different things to attract racing members and some days are not compatible for everyone, hence the change. It also has a small beneficial effect for me, in that it reduces the number of consecutive races I host/admin and spreads them out more evenly through the week. Believe it or not I do have another life outside SRO .

 

After some further checking & testing of the mod we have in SRO Resources, it has become clear that some cars actually have different power/torque/weight settings along with different feeling FFB. I have also been made aware of another SuperClio mod, which appears to contain some of the same cars but also some other versions in different groups. My original belief was that the cars in the mod had the same physics and were only grouped together into various skin collections.
As a result of these latest findings I'm in the final stages of re-selecting which car mod & group will be used for the series, which could be different to the initial plan. There are few major differences which would significantly affect the series, but I apologise if you have spent time testing to make your choice of car.

 

After final testing we will be using the newer version of the mod which contains additional cars. The SRO download has been updated with the new file, so please re-download and install to your AMS folder. I suggest removing the original mod first, but it will not cause a conflict if you don't, only an unnecessary duplication of files.
The mod appears in the AMS selection screen as Sprint Race VSM and within that mod both the GP and PRO versions of car are eligible to be used.

Hi Michael, good to have you onboard for this final race and hopefully many more in the future. There is no need to make a skin selection for this final race.
