    I tried the track before with 35AI in VR for 5 laps and had no issues at all. Also CPU usage did not seem any higher for me than with other tracks.

    Hopefully you're right. I would hate to see it go.

    Yes, I did this for boostpreformance;
    Post Processing=none
    AA=2x or 4x
    All grafical settings=med
    Rain drops=off (otherwise it will load the shaders, even when it stays dry)
    Instant replay=10 sec
    Al shadow settings=low or med
    visable cars=14 or lower

    Hi Oscar,
    First you have to signup for the series here;
    https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/racing/seriesinfo/85
    You'll be a red light, that means you're on the waitinglist. As soon as a GTE driver unregisters, you'll move up to green.
    Then it depends which car that driver had to see what slot is free in "select your car here";

    So far I have tested all the cars & have not seen the bug yet .. John does this happen every time for you ?

    Not any more since I lowered and turned off some settings. I tested the new settings off line with 31 AI and didn't have the problem anymore.
    Online should be even beter then, since the computer doesn't have to work extra with AI.

    Well I may or may not be involved in Sunday's test race. I'm having a problem whereby Steam keeps wanting to reinstall rF2. It has happened twice in 4 days now. I've kept my PC on for the whole 4 days and so far it has reinstalled rF2 twice. It's 80GB worth and takes for ever. It seems as soon as it's finished downloading it just starts again. Have no idea what's going on with it. This has happened once before when my PC failed to see the hard drive rF2 is installed on. I replaced the hard drive with a SSD and it's been happy for a couple of months until this happens. Bloody hate Steam. It was so much simpler when you had a DVD. Not once did a game uninstall itself. I'm steaming right now :mad:

    Send a message to the Steam help desk. Also google the problem. You never know what you might get.

    Yeah already done that. Steam haven'the responded yet. I followed instruction on how to remount the drive given by Steam but this didn'the work. Hopefully this last install will solve the problem

    Did you try installing it on another drive? Even an external one?

    No. Don'the have one. This drive is brand new. I think the problem lies in having several drives with Steam folders on them. The drive with the actual Steam software on it doesn'the have the room for RF2. But it should work. Oh sell its wait and see now

    Did you try linking 2 drives together to get the space you need for 1 Steam install?
    Google on this, there's plenty of hits on how to do that; "link 2 hard drives together"

    Yes I have Steam spanning 3 drives. Not sure what you mean by linking them? In the Settings|Downloads section they are listing in the games folders. Well it has finally finished downloading. I've rebooted the PC a couple of times and it seems happy now. This happened right after a windows update so I wonder if this upset something. Fingers crossed I'm OK. Need to check whether I have all of my payware mods now. Thanks for the suggestions John :)

    Damn this. After 4 days of reinstalling everything I cannot see the endurance cars even though they appear in the content browser in the rF2 Launcher as being installed. I've unsubscribed to each item then subscribed again and it's re-downloaded them but still doesn't appear. I now officially give up on this. If I don't my PC may go out the window :mad:

    I think the spider web of HD's is causing the issues .. the payed content is crypted so you cant pass them along so its seeing them on one drive but needs to play them from another maybe ?, I've seen posts at 397 on this .. maybe have a search over there ..

    Yeah already tried there. A few seem to have had the issue but no definitive solution :(
