    Meet the car
    GT SILHOUETTE MR1

The MR1 is a small GT of tubular chassis, central engine and rear traction 100% developed for competitions in lane, being able to receive almost any body of compact cars, like the Fiat 500.

The project was designed by Metalmoro the time of the partnership with Fiat as a car to be used in an entry category for the Copa Trofeo Linea. With the end of the investments of the Italian headquarters of the company for investments in competition in the world the project remained alive in the hands of Metalmoro, who evolved the concept and can then exploit all the potential that the package had to offer.

    Version
    FIAT 500

The MR1 is a purely competitive car, under the fairing it is a true competition prototype, following the same principles of affordability and low operating costs as an MRX. The car also accepts a variety of engine and shift options, enabling you to build exactly what you need.
Currently the body version of the Fiat 500 is available, specially adapted for the needs of a racing car but maintaining the appeal and charm of the original car.

    In the results
    AMAZING

Defeating a Ferrari GT3 in its debut, the MR1 draws attention and delivery performance to surprise the most capable opponents.

    On the track
    COMPETITIVE

The MR1 is intended for the GT class where cars such as Ferrari and Porsche normally compete, and should not have any lack of performance for the competition.

Indeed, great little cars to drive flat out for 25 minutes. No tyre or fuel saving.
Let's get a full grid of them!

I seem to remember that there is an option, probably in the Tuning Menu to turn it off.

I am having a problem with the car or track. When I enter the server or garage I crash. Seems I can hear the car but no visuals. then it crashes. I had this problem once before with the Lola T280 doing the same. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Which track do you mean Michael?

I have just joined the Brno server with no problems and see that others have also been on it. First thing to try is to uninstall/delete the car mod and the track, uninstall/remove any existing vmod files from the rF2/Content tab and then download and reinstall again.

Sort by "Type" by click on the header and delete and uninstall all "Mod" unless you have created some of your own or installed any manually.
They normally downloads from the server, but they will force rF2 to keep older version of any package that have been updated.
Restart rF2 and all older unused versions will be removed, if any. Any Mod with a * cant be removed as they part of Workshop article.

And as Ken suggested, unsubscribe on the car & track in workshop, start rF2 to remove them.
Quit rF2 and subscribe again, start rF2 to install again and try to connect. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys. I followed your advice and all seems to be working. I was on line the night before last and all seemed to work but failed to do so yesterday. No idea what happened.
Thanks again hope to see you on track. These cars are a lot of fun to drive and are sticky as hell as long as you stay off the grass.
    Cheers
