Update for round 1 : there is a random bug that effects the pit stops where if you even just barely cross one of the pit lane lines it will/can cause your stop to be 'Invalad' .This bug is related to the "Pit Window" .. the DEV's have already found & fixed the issue but we will have to wait for the next update for it to take effect . The fix in the mean time is to simply not use the "Pit Window" .. In doing this the pits will be open from green to checkered ..you still must do your stop + 4tire change its just now you may do it at anytime during the race .
If the next update does not come before round 1 this is how we will do it ..no pit window -mandatory stop/4 tire change . If the update comes before round 1 we will go back to a 20 min pit window ;-) ..

Remember with ACC for PRIVATE password servers you need to use the search bar , pass-worded servers do not show in the regular lobby you must use the search ..;)

When I go to change down a gear it does not always change down I have to press the paddle shifter again.
    Using T500RS.
This does not happen in any other sim just ACC.

On a lap the time lost mounts up.

Well like AC (and the real gt3 cars) they all have "shift protection" this prevents damage to your trans .. you just have to wait a few more seconds or use the clutch . It's not like rf2 (that does not have realistic shift protection modeled) where you can slam it in any gear at any time … I had issues with AC like you so for ACC I already knew as they posted about how the real cars transmissions work with the feature .. takes some getting used to but theirs nothing wrong with your wheel ! :)

it definiely happens in ac in certain cars who have this shift protection as well
like Rob said: it's a safety feature

As of Today the "Pit Window" is turned off .. You may complete the mandatory pit stop with 4 tire change at any time between green to checkered ..
We will remain with this setting until the next up-date ! ;)

Cool to see we have such a big grid for ACC.
I feel that this simulator deserves that.

  16. All was fine until 20 minutes into the race when I lost most braking. Lost 2 second a lap and hoped the pitstop would help, but 2 laps after the stop my rear brakes both failed completely and my tire temps and pressures went through the roof. Had to park the car in the pits .

What do the brake numbers mean in the setup screen, because Kunos with all their wisdom don't mention anything...?

I think you were going too fast :p

No, seriously that's a bummer. I don't know myself, kind of new to the sim.

Brake numbers are for the type of brake pads. Use number 2 for everything. More info on Kunos forums. Great race - my first. Had a good experience and looking forward to the next one in Feb.

First 30 minutes was having fun with this sim, Came in to the pits I missed my pit box by not much had to make a few adjustments to get it right.

When leaving pit box another mistake changed up to 2nd gear it was to late then stop&go 3 laps before I need to come in then realised the 3 laps were up I had gone passed the pit entry went over the line dq

Qualified in P3 which was good.

Start of the race I was a bit too late for the green, stayed on the inside and I'm not sure what happened but I think Tim turned into me. It looked weird from my end. Ruskus was getting away in P1. I was 3-4 seconds behind Middleton for 30 minutes of the race until the pit stop. I was sitting comfortably in P2 before the stop. I thought about adding 20 liters during the stop and I think that was a mistake .. my controls were locked for 30 seconds :( I thought it worked like AC where you can change tires and also add fuel and not loose too much time. Lost a few more seconds after the stop because my ignition was apparently not turned on, while I thought I did.. I lost a position to Tim because of the stop. Too bad because I could maybe have challenged Middleton for the win had I actually practised a stop once ! Finished the race in P3.

I was not sure how smooth it was going to be in VR but it worked really well. Too bad it looks so blurry in ACC..
