    Round 3 finds us at yet another track more on the technical side @ Hungaroring !
    Race reminders
    Short rolling start
    Mandatory pit stop with 4 tire change
    60 min race time
    No open pit window (meaning you are free to pit from green to checkered )
    Entry adjustments will take place for round 3 meaning if you are signed up for the series but have failed to race in 2 races in a row you will be removed from the entry list to allow room for other drivers listed as "RED" in the entry list this rule comes into play when the entry list has more drivers that allowed on the server 32 (we currently have 36 signed up ! )

    The following 4 drivers have been removed from the entry list for "no shows"
    Germano Intorcia
    Paulo Tempera
    Ali Caglar
    Paul Anstey

    Any driver removed from the entry list may rejoin at any time but will be subject to the "RED LIST"
    Keep in mind on race day we have averaged 24-27 drivers this means drivers are failing to Un-Register for events when they know they cant make it .This is very unfair to the "Red Light" drivers as they have no way of knowing that there is room on the server at race time . I'm personally asking you all to please be considerate of your fellow simmers and unregister from events you know you cant make !
    Thanks all ! See you on the grid !

    I have to drop out of this race. I spent most of last night in ER with pancreatitis and don't feel up to racing yet. It sucks because I really enjoy these ACC races. Good luck to all and have fun!

    Cheers guys!!! what should of been an enjoyable evening of racing ruined by appalling driving with a complete lack of respect or awareness. Hope the ones left that weren't pushed off the track had fun.

    Thanks guys for the race! Not get very good start and Jeffrey pass me and that's make race much funnier. Trying to overtake Jeffrey, but he defends well and I didn't have a chance to overtake him. Then I make a decision to go to pits before him and trying to overtake him there and it worked. Rest of the race I just trying to keep him as far as possible.

    Only played this sim 37 hours, but it is now my favorite sim at the moment. I feel the car pretty good in this sim.:) See ya next one! (if I can participate)

    This is my favourite sim I just need to sort my pit stops out. This time hit speed limiter all ok coming in and going out but did not untick change brakes was in the pits for 1:30 instead of 30s.

    Bit of mayhem at the start which I managed to avoid most of it.

    Grats Henri on the win.

    Aaaack ! I was short on fuel and had to pit twice !! Would have been a great result otherwise.

    Qualy, I only changed to wet tyres, probably not the best choice. P13 .. could have been better.

    First lap of the race was awful. I got pushed off track by a red Ferrari (Roberto? not sure). Cars went off and I gained places. Then spent all of the race behind the back of Simon Gymer. Great racing. I tried to overtake several times on the twisty parts as his Mercedes was too fast on the straight. Very close racing with no contact. Great stuff. I was in P6 (or P5?) with 15 minutes to go when crew chief said I had 10 minutes of fuel left.. Waaaat ? Either I miscalculated the fuel or there is an issue there as I read from someone from the other race not enough was refueled at the pit stop.. Not sure what happened there but that meant I had to make another stop :( Just as Simon and Frans (I think) collided in front of me, I went past but had to go in the pits immediately. That sucked because that would have been P4 or P3 for the race.. I was in P13 after the stop. Pushed hard and overtook 2 cars that were 10 seconds in front when I left the pits. Really stupid I was short on fuel because that result would have been great for the championship...

    Good racing in the first half with Rob and Roger. After the pit stop it was a bit quiet until the last couple of laps when John passed me.

    It was a great race - apologies to S. Pike from me - tapped him at T2 in lap 3. Got tapped once myself while later, not too bad and I was allowed to pass to regain the spot i lost. Good form :) Qual at p3 was a surprise for me but then again, it was raining and I like rain as my careful driving becomes really fast! Went from p3 to P8, which where I seem to belong in this field.
    Third race and I am enjoying it a lot. Thank you to everyone for making an effort.

    Dear All
    Thanks for a good race yesterday - notwithstanding my own poor performance. I still have my 2 X A license at iRacing.com. That is why I was very excited when I would be turned, pushed, flipped or otherwise, when you are in the field and being overtaken from behind - This did not happen, my respect for you others in the field. That is why I have decided that my iRacing license will not be renewed and I will therefore focus on this race forum. I will pay my contribution to the place here soon. Looking forward to the next race on March 10.

    However, have a question for admin:
    Why isn't refueling used with the tire change?
    Why not maybe two duty pit stops?

  15. Big deja-vu for the first half of the race with a Lexus right on my tail, just like last race. Again that Lexus was able to brake much later than I am, which should be the strength of the Aston, so I'm wondering which brake pads you guys use. After Silverstone I'm afraid of switching to anything other than the 2 pads.

    When Henri undercut me with the stops I knew he would be in front after my stop, but I lost 8 seconds during the pitstop. I have engine start set to manual and buttons assigned, but still the game does it automatically for me. Do I need to do something else before it works? Before they start changing tires, there are a few seconds of them doing nothing and that's costing me some seconds.

    Also, when are they adding fuel, because I refuel during the stops as it doesn't seem to change the duration of the stop anyway, but maybe it does anyway?

    @Laurent Londes I also did only change to wet tires. Did my best lap in first lap. After that those tires started overheat.
    @Jeffrey Ruskus I use also brake pad 2. And I use automatic engine start/stop so I don't think so you lose there, but I think if you drive little too far on to box, they must push the car back and lose there little then? I did refuel 47 liters and it did that same time than change tires. I think you lost time maybe entry of pits and did drove little too far on to box, also when I exit the pits I did race bests laps there, and you stayed out couple of laps, so you probably lose there also some.

    Edit. Watched the replay and I was over second faster per lap after my pits stop and before you pit stop.

    Great racing guys , sorry for those who got the raw end of some incidents:oops: ,they are being looked at ! Over all A very good job by everyone !

    Replay is posted on the event page however its falls short 1/2 a lap ..it recorded 63 min ?

    For your questions regarding the pit stops .. I'm not certain of anything :D .. refueling is "ON" on the server & your more then welcome to start with lo fuel & add at the mandatory 4 tire change .. however with 60 min races you can carry enough ...
    Keep in mind we still have series 3 & 4 , 75 & 90 min races , coming up as 2020 moves ahead so fuel will come into play !

    This is how the server is set up !

    "isRefuellingAllowedInRace": true,
    "isRefuellingTimeFixed": false, <with this set to true all cars will use a fixed amount of refuel time , false = amount of fuel added = time spent (realistic setting)
    "isMandatoryPitstopRefuellingRequired": false,
    "isMandatoryPitstopTyreChangeRequired": true,
    "isMandatoryPitstopSwapDriverRequired": false

  18. Man that Lexus seems good then, it has the highest top speed and can brake on a dime :eek:. I think I drove towards the arrow sign, but that seems to be too far. It's kinda tricky to see where to stop exactly and I wish they didn't make it so finicky, because the crew isn't on their knees already like in F1, but have to run around the car anyway, so no stopping on the exact spot shouldn't make such a difference.
    Not that it really matters in the end, as I didn't have the pace to challenge for the win anyway, it just made the second half of the race boring :). Only thing that made it exiting was the fact I had 3 track limit warnings and I had to tippy toe around the track for the last 20 minutes.

    Hi All
    Then I put a picture of the ugly monkey on my profile, so be warned if you see a Porsche crawl up behind you with a too big nose in the windshield.
    Sorry but I don't look better, but I love the company at ACC.
    See you on March 10th.
    Claus
