Then the work around for longer races is to stop/start the replay before the max time runs out . By default the replay start/stop button is the 'M' key .
Example would be in a 90 min race (max replay is 1hr:15min) at or around the 45 min mark (1/2 way) hit the M to stop & save then hit it again to start the 2nd replay ..

@Laurent Londes try to change antialiasing type. I had blurry image too, but that worked to me. Don't remember which one was correct.

I'll give it a go. I tried a lot of things a long time ago now, so things might have changed.

@Laurent, yes I saw that thread on RD only today so will try a few of their tricks. I didn't get the stutters/blinking all the time, just at certain times or parts of the track. Did also find out after the race that the wife was streaming Netflix downstairs at same time so that wouldn't have helped
Disapointed to hear you also used the default presets, was hoping you had crafted a mean setup otherwise that just means I am too slow in the Aston :D:(

@whoever mentioned the pit RFD, yes I had preset some pitstop options in case it rained but wasn't aware you can access that pit menu whilst out on track as had only seen it pop up in the pitlane.

Where can we get skins to use in the races? I didn't even know that was an option in ACC. Anyone fancy knocking up some mean RL Aston skins? :p

All the skins in game are real life since they are the ones from the series. Pick other teams / numbers to see all the skins.

I'm not exactly certain as only been testing it myself lately, but you don't need to press M to start recording again.
    eg, 3 hour race,
    after 1 hour - press M once
    after 2 hours - press M once
after 3 hours (finish) - will auto save
Or that's how it seemed to work for me.
(I also assigned a key on joystick to the 'save replay / M' key, but didn't seem to work.

You also get a little message above the rev hud to say the replay is saved.

Some say do it on a straight as you get a slight stutter (or better still, just do it on each pitstop)

ps. Yesterdays race, mine recorded all of it without needed to cut it up.

Or use the custom editor to build your own ! (using the pre supplied colors and sponsors) in single player select your car of choice and then use the edit tool to create !

Was a fun race saturday, had a slightly buzzed Mike Nobel and Jarkko Torvinen in my voice chat who were coaching me and keeping me company during the race. The Merc topped out at 274KPH and was no match for the Macca's. It seems I am the only Merc in this season so I can't really compare my performance this race since I haven't raced any of you in the regular CP races. At least I'm happy I didn't make any mistakes and I look forward to future races!

Just to update how the replays work

    3hr race tonight,

    upload_2020-4-11_0-39-18.png

It doesn't record just between the M presses, but the full 1hr25 before each M press. (if that is your setting) - obviously first part is shorter as there wasn't 1hr25 before.

    Part 1 is lap 1 to lap 29 - 55 minutes - M pressed after 55 minutes
    Part 2 is lap 9 to lap 64 - 1hr26 - M pressed after approx 1hr40
    Part 3 is lap 35 to 92 - 1hr26 - m pressed after approx 2hr25
    Part 4 auto saved

So it is pointless pressing M early as you'll get a lot of duplicate data.

So is the best bet to wait until 1:24 in this case ?

I'm my case yes, but would say that I recorded 1hr25 as it wasn't such a big grid.
The max length in settings says 1hr15 (which must be for bigger grids) so I'd say to press M before each 1hr15 of racing.
