Automobilista's Future?

I have Automobilista since beta testing and never really used it since open beta testing. Is it worth to buy the DLCs since Automobilista2 is out? I probably won't get Automobilista2 because I have to many race games as it is. If SRO will be holding many more races in the future with Automobilista I will get the Season Pass.. It still is really pricey at
40$CDN (25 Euros ?)

 

Okay, I will get the Brit Pak instead of Season pass, after investigating Brit Pak is commonly used tracks here.

 

AMS 2 is awesome, i hope series can be here

 

If you guys have not tried AMS2 yet, please do so. It is absolutely the best sim in the market. Please also note that traction control is on as default so you need to map button for disabling it from settings and disable it first before driving. Really looking forward to race with AMS2 on good company

 

I am on the fence about getting AMS 2.. Main drawback being it doesn't offer much over other sims (or AC in particular) and has no modding support. And also, I would like to league race with it.

 

It offers so much I am doubting if I will ever race with other sims anymore. Feel of the cars is so unbeliavable. I have not been fan of modern cars but AMS2 has changed that... they feel so good in AMS2. I have tested AMS2 against other sims and it´s clear winner against anything else. My previous #1 was AC and now even the best mods doesn´t feel right when I have tasted AMS2 feel (just make sure you map key for traction control and make sure it is turned off before you start driving). And everyone I have talked about feel and quality of rain in AMS2 agree that it´s clearly better than anything else. It´s also very light to run AMS2 and feel of speed is best in all sims too. I highly recommend to grab it before steam summer sale is over and price goes up (they extended -20% sale of early access till end of steam summer sale). You will also get Hockenheim pack if you grab it on summer sale.

 

I got it yesterday already I still need to tweak some here and there to my liking but for sure I can tell it is really good! Oow, good point about the traction control, I have to do that too. Setting up the HUD seemed bugged in VR, I have to click away from the boxes while the rest of the UI works fine. FFB I'm nog sure about that FX and other one, I think I need to lower it. Also work a bit on gfx settings. But overall I was enjoying lapping already. The feel is certainly good and that is what is most important.

Hoping for a championship with AMS2 !! What would be the reason for not doing it at the moment?

Great and congrats on great puchace Be sure to map key for Hud view (options, controls, edit assigments, game, hud view). With that you can cycle through four different modes (off, light, telemetry ja full) which give different options on screen). You can olso set this up without mapping a button (options, gameplay, display, hud level and there you will find those four options: off, light, telemetry and full). Not sure what you mean clicking away from boxes. Works good on my VR. FFB settings are easy. Gain is obviously main gain level (I have that on 100), Low force boost boost up effects that are tiny (I have that on 50) and FX is road texture end effect (I have that on 50 too). Be sure to have first option to set on default if you don´t have any custom file installed. This one many people like to be best custom file that was a game changer for them.

Depends heavily on your wheel. For me default felt better.
