Hi guys, I can't load the track properly. I have the error opening the cloudsmed.mas file and the game closes. Any solutions? OK, i found the solution here https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/round-6-zolder.3404/#post-26793 now the track loads just fine.
Sorry about that Doug, I thought I had changed all the pwd's for my hosted series, but it appears not. They are all amended now and thanks for highlighting the error.
Congrats Mariusz. Three cars are accelerating out of the last corner fighting for second/third/fourth and two of them pressing the throttle a bit too hard Lucky me gets through, although I hit Ken because I could not avoid him, he likely would have spun out without my help but probably kept his rear wing. Still P3 for him though, leaving Ramon in P4. Tough race for everybody it seems, I watched the replay and I think each driver spun at least once. These cars are very sensitive at the throttle and these bloody sausage curbs... But it was still good fun fighting with you guys.
Rear tyres were showing Red for the last few laps, probably the same for everybody I imagine, and the back-end of the car was very loose into the faster turns, so I'd had to back off quite a bit. I also had 1st gear set too long which hampered the pick-up coming off the slow turns. Both combined into the last corner exit problem , but at least I held onto 3rd.
Regarding the great shoot of Philipp, well I was preparing the overtaking the last laps, because I did that last corner faster. Everything was set in my mind to take the two places in that last corner of the last lap. I mean, it was crystal clear that I was going to take those places and finish second in the podium. It was job done. And then I just pressed full throttle at the exit, my F3 spun and ended against the wall. So yeah, like we say here in Spain, "don't sell the milk before milking cows".
