The purpose of this league is to build series for Endurance racing together with interested league members.

We will discuss and vote on all options together in how to build a series, for example:
    - What mods to use
    - Event duration
    - What tracks
    - Event rules

To give the first series of this league a start, I have selected the Endurance Pack by Studio 397 and reserved dates on the calendar.
    Sundays 19:00 GMT: Sept 6 / Sept 20 / Oct 4 / Oct 18 / Nov 1 / Nov 15.

The first point for discussion I want to introduce is add-on cars.

The original Endurance Pack consists of these cars: Porsche 911 RSR, BMW M8 GTE, Corvette C7.R, Oreca 07 LMP2 and the Norma M30 LMP3.

For this new series I want to propose that we use from the original pack these cars:
    - LMP2
    - BMW
    - Corvette
    - Porsche

    and these add-on cars:

    - Ferrari 488 GTE - (DLC Studio 397 € 4,99)
    - Aston Martin GTE - (DLC Studio 397 € 4,99)

If we are going to do this, we might as well do it right. :)

Let me know if you are interested in supporting this league and place your comments below.

I am interested and Sunday evening suits me very well.
I'm ok to buy the missing items if I'm sure it stays on weekends, because working at night, I can't run on weekdays.

You can be sure it stays on Sundays. I already reserved the dates for it for our first series. Now we have to vote for 6 tracks.

    My advice on tracks:
    Le Mans (S397 version)
    Sebring (S397 version)
    Silverstone
    Spa-Francorshamps
    Bahrain
    Paul Ricard

    2h/2.5h race duration

Le Mans with time acceleration to simulate day-night-day shift

Love the long duration as long as my body can take it o_O

Maybe a couple of races that run through the night. Sebring is awesome at night :)

John, The issue with adding in the Ford EGT from URD is BOP.
I'm currently participating in another league, and the league admins have done manual/custom BOP to all the URD GTE cars to get them to be close in laptimes and fun competitively on track. If you're mixing URD and s397 cars, it probably won't go well from on track racing perspective. Not to mention the BOP problems s397 cars themselves have.

Otherwise, i'm good with everything you listed. It will be interesting to see the next update from S397, hopefully we get the BOP changes s397 used for the virtuallm24 yesterday. (personally i'm biased because it looks like the Porsche is much stronger than the other cars :p )

Noted. Can you give me more info with regard to the Ford BOP? How much weight did they slap on it?

It wasn't just weight. They got permission from URD to change all of the physics of all the gt cars. They spent a couple months testing and tweaking the changes so all the cars retained their unique characteristics, but basically all are within about a second of lap time.
Weight, inertia, aero, hp, torque, tire grip/wear etc.

So they drive more like s397 GTEs now than the original wooden tire URD cars. But i don't know how fast/slower the original URD Ford GT will be compared to the s397 GTEs ... my guess is that URD Ford GT will be faster in a straight line than s397 cars, but because it has original wooden tires from URD, it probably won't corner as well.
