This round features a DLC track! You do not need to own the DLC to race on the track.
However, you will need to wait for a host that owns the DLC to start the server then join as a client.. In other words, if the server shows empty and you try to join (host) without the DLC you will be kicked .. If you own it, you will be host

 

Q session will be 15 min to allow a 2nd lap! (un-less the "overtime" runs out)

 

Hi Stephen, the race times here at SRO are always set in GMT. If you set your own time zone on your original membership sign-up the proper time will be displayed on your event page! under "Loacl Race Time"
An example would be 19:00 GMT is 7 pm in Europe.

Track Cuts are bumped up to 10. Damage is med/performance impacting ..

 

The ridiculous AMS2 "invalid lap" thing is crazy, especially when you've screwed your lap up with a mistake and still had two wheels inside track limits. It's about time they did something about that "feature" .

I got disconnected while waiting for the grid to form. A bit disappointing.
This afternoon I also got a message from the practice server that I didn't have the required DLC's to enter the server.

The physics of AMS2 are really good now. Very close to rF2. I had a blast with the VR headset.

I got a really good tip from streamer Gamermuscle for FFB that I'm really liking.

Steps below:

Go to your "C:\Users\"Username"\Documents\Automobilista 2" folder

1. 
   Backup original "ffb_custom_settings.txt" file
   Delete ALL code in the original file.
   Replace it with the red code below ONLY.

(rack (/ arm_force M_max_force_at_rack))
(output rack)
(output (* output gain))
(histogram output)

-------

1. Save and exit.
   
   Run the game.
   
   Go to settings \ Control \ Force Feedback setttings \ turn FX to "0".
2. and set the FFB to "custom"

 

Right? Man .. Toni was on fire! 7:24.771 fastest race lap! and also his average lap time 7:24.7 was almost identical! Grats Toni!!

I led one of the stats: I had the most cuts ;-) hah...

My race was fun, even though I was off pace; those high-speed, long, twisting turns are amazing in this car! I could feel the downforce when hard on the throttle.
I made it 4.5 of the 6 laps & put it into the fence, parked it & watched the last lap battle between Niel & JVD for 2nd! What a fight ! it was really cool to watch ...
