    Test race next Tuesday 20.00 GMT

    I am organizing a 30 minute testrace next Tuesday February 27 at 20.00 GMT for anybody who wants to test his car.
    Skins should be assigned by then (for those who posted it).

    I'm inviting everybody to come to Teamspeak for the testrace. Communications are a lot easier that why.
    I will be on Teamspeak for anybody who has questions or wants to discuss something during the session.

    Test race is done. Very interesting info gathered on tires for a long run. Scaba won the race. He was pretty fast LOL. Grats Scab. Well done!!

    Mostly successful testing yesterday at Highlands Long for the test race with the Shelby Daytona. Not having done any testing before, it's obvious there is a lot of work to do with the setup and track line. These 8 laps, specially the second half of the race, helped a lot on this department having consumed the first half in battling for position with Kimi and Phil.
    Having qualified on my first lap after a long while with a 3:59, I was pleased to get the time down to 3:55 (even running at 3:54 for a good while) during the race. I'm sure a better setup will help to get this down but I also suspect that the aliens around will make that feel slow eventually. All in all, a good test and some insights for the first round on 19th March. Enjoy!

    Great that you made a YouTube video of the test race.
    Like the fact that you're driving it authentically with the old "heel / toe" stuff :)

    is there a practise server up (with stracker) where we can put some laps in and get an idea of relative pace?
    shame i missed the race last night, i would have attended if i had seen the date. When i last looked it said the race was tuesday!

    Yes, the practise server has been up for a long time now. Type "SRO" and you will find it.
    You can go to "Live timing" on top of the SRO page for all the lap times.

    For some reason i cant join the server, it drops me out, while i can join another online servers :( I dont know what is happening i will try to reinstall the car pack...

    Ok John false alarm.. I am out of town and i have my laptop.. I installed the legends car pack, but i forgat to copy the original kn5 files from porsche '74 rsr to the legends rsr 74 folder..
    Idiot.. :p
