    The 1976 South African Grand Prix (formally the XXII South African Grand Prix) was a Formula One motor race held on 6 March 1976 at Kyalami in Transvaal Province, South Africa. It was the second round of the 1976 Formula One season. The race was the 22nd South African Grand Prix and the tenth to be held at Kyalami. The race was held over 78 laps of the 4.104-kilometre circuit for a total race distance of 320 kilometres.

    The race was won by Austrian driver Niki Lauda in a Ferrari 312T. The win was Lauda's third win in succession. He finished 1.3 seconds ahead of British driver and Lauda's season long rival James Hunt in a McLaren M23. Hunt's McLaren team mate, West German driver Jochen Mass, finished third.

    The times for events will stay the same as it was for round 1 Bridgehampton. I did this by moving the GMT times back 1 hour.
    Qual = 19.00 GMT
    Race = 19.15 GMT

    Summertime - time zone change

    As of March 31, summertime is in effect.
    That means that the clock in Britain has moved forward 1 hour from GMT and Central Europe has moved forward 2 hours from GMT.

    Sim Racing Online will stay on the GMT time zone. GMT has not changed. This means that all members have to adjust their calculations for the starting time for all events.
    Of course, you will only have to do this once to know the difference in time.

    BST = GMT + 1 hour
    CET = GMT + 2 hours

    For example, if the race starts at 19:15 GMT, then that would be:
    19:15 GMT = 20:15 BST
    19:15 GMT = 21:15 CET

    Hi
    I have extracted the Kyalami file indicated in the championship but cannot see it in game is there a step I am missing in the install
    extracted to my installed/locations folder but cannot see in game o_O

    You need to extract the file to the .../rFactor2/packages folder and open rFactor, go to the packages and install it.

    Did a quick run last night for a baseline setup, and I can promise you this ... this car and this track ... it's gonna be something LOL!

    The skins are based on the 1975 F1 Shadow Team.

    Nice skins Paul, I was thinking of doing the same but my time is limited currently.

    And as we're going that way, I'd like to present you my own car.

    Long story short, when I was a teenager I was drawing race cars and this was the one for my "team" for that year. Thanks to your series this is an old dream that'll become true this week-end hopefully. :)
