Hello, it looks like the standings and championship lists are a bit behind. Is everything okay with the system? Just checking to see if the LMU championship is still running normally. Thank you.

Hi everyone, sorry I did want to do this race but trying to get myself organised for a trip tomorrow, if I can attend I will!

Annoying as I've done a fairly large update to my dragon livery on the Oreca and I haven't raced it yet! lol.

Wishing you all a good race :)

What a race!! Flat out the whole time. Lars, sorry for the tap in the first stint, I misjudged the distance. Glad you didn't spin out or lose the position to Hue. It was a shame to see Hue fly over the kerb at Turn 1. I was really having fun—it had all the makings of a three-way sprint to the finish.

grats to winners, initial battles were good with Phillip, managed to take the lead when he went left and I went right lapping traffic but took one liberty too far with the traffic at the next corner and spun, from then on it was downhill, had a setup issue where I would get snap oversteer on entry causing a spin which overheated the rears causing even more spins as temps never came down, eventually decided to park it with 10 mins to go as it was undriveable.

Ouf, the double duty today was maybe a bit too much, but as Nick and Barett, I also wanted to to the Mx5s.

Anyway, may race was quite good, also a bit stressful in the carfuffle with the GT3 leaders. I was not aware of the three way with me the outside. Glad that it did not end in a disaster, however after leading and later closely following Matej I was fading a bit, because the car suddenly felt weird. Maybe the tyres overheated but I felt a loss of grip in the slow hairpines and in practice this meant a spin is imminent. Avoided that by reducing my pace but the price was to let Matej go. He did a great job to recover from that spin and win - congrats.

For me it was a struiggle untile the finish, car came back but it kind of yo-yoed from getting close to a spin until I had two. Made lapping cars trickier but for sure I could have judged some manoeuvres better. Sorry to the silver arrow, was not necessary to interfere in your battle. Was sot of rushed into that and because it is so easy to lock the rear with the P2.

I can echo what Nick says, but I would say this is not only setup related. For this track or the type for corners it is quite typical that the car is so tricky over a race distance. Might be the reasons so many were not in for the challenge.

    race replay, if still needed

When practising, I didn't do more than 5-10 laps together, so I never experienced the problems that came up in the race. Left rear cooking I belive was the main issue. Changed driving style and playing with BB helped and I kept left rear under 103c..
I like the changing conditions/dynamic in the LMU, there's a lot to learn
Hope to see a few more P2's next round.
