    Formation lap procedure

    How does each race start?
    1. The race starts by a formation lap
    2. From the second to last corner we go double file
    3. the overall pole-sitter stays ON THE SPEED-LIMITER from that moment on.
    4. Once the polesitter starts the race by crossing the start line, we all go and are free to race.

    Unfortunately I can't attend this last event because of a Tour of Duty with the wife.
    I will ask Rob Milliken to advance the sessions as admin.

    Well so far so good, managed some decent laps against AI, on a setting of 108% LMP2 pole should be in the 34's which is more or less been bang on for all the other races I've done with the Oreca, but so far I'm in the 35's on hot laps so we'll see how it goes.

    Some of the corners just go on and on, you have to be very disciplined to keep the understeer under control with the LMP2 car. Still tweaking the setup though.

    My only worry at the moment is the 100% damage, it's perfectly fine and I'm not complaining but there are some very close walls around Watkins Glen I rubbed one wall on a long run and that was it, car wouldn't steer anymore, lol.

    Fingers crossed for a decent turnout tomorrow :)

    Are all the cars updated?
    Do you have all the cars from the S397 Endurance Pack?
    Did you download the track from the Championships event page?

    Hi all,
    Sorry for sneaking out that early in the session but I'm not used to the fast traffic from the LMP2s and felt very clunky on the first wave of fastest cars... This didn't improve when the second wave came and I thought it would be best to give up and avoid an accident that would spoil someone else's race. I'll look into any future endurance series and will consider if I can cope with 2h 25min of intense racing... Hope you have all a great race.
