Qualify replay shows Ricardo on track and in the racing line 3 seconds before impact. Leading car may have been slow but was clearly visible so avoidance was possible.

Murilo, please watch the replay. On the front straight at the end of lap 5 you swerve twice and hit John's car and then at turn 1 you hit his car again in the turn and knocked the door off. Also refer to lap 1 and the contact with Ricardo Gomes. It may not have seemed aggressive to you at the time, but the replay shows aggressive maneuvers and unnecessary contact.

I think he understands .. Thank you Murilo ..

point taken ... serve your drive threw and we all move on ! :)

WE all need to Keep in mind The real DTM is very intense & that can't help but carry over to our virtual DTM & this fantastic mod by URD .. its frikin intense !! heh that's why we like it ..
So a reminder to ALL drivers ! the rules we have been going by is if you are the cause of an incident resulting in the other car going off or spinning you must do a drive threw .

exception* Some times things just happen and we have contact & cars get pushed off track If you are involved and the cause of a incident that causes another driver to go off track or loose a position ,you must give that position back if you can both regain .... If you punt another driver off track but are able to continue yourself you must do a drive threw .. *or if the situation allows that does not effect other traffic you can wait for said driver to get going to give the spot back to avoid the drive threw ..

    * this is an FKR amendment to the official rule ;)

AS a driver You know yourself if you caused an incident that deserves a drive threw or not so just respect yourself and the sport & make good decisions ..! we are all here for the love of racing ! let's keep it going ! This has been a very exciting series for me so Thank you all for that ! :)

Another intense race ! Estoral is always tough for me . I was way off the pace with one day to go for round 5 ,I crammed in some practice the night before and managed a PB in final practice on race day but was unable to repeat that time in Q ..
Had some good battles trying to hold my position & managed to stay pretty much mistake free for a 6th place finish ! right where I qualified !

Barrett under attack from Toni hard on the breaks into T1 !

As Carlos put a gap on the field the battle for second & third kept the fight going !

Yes it's an odd one, it does depend slightly on what I'm racing on at the time. For example on Raceroom my braking is pretty good. However on AMS for example I find it very difficult to be consistent and I think that's what annoys me so much (the Super V8 feels like I'm trying to stop a bus!) Even though it "feels" like I'm braking at the same level my ability to make heavy braking work for me with these pedals is not there yet. For example in one online race others around me were able to brake a good 10-15% later than me into the corners so although I was faster than them I couldn't outbrake them to try and make a pass. I used to be top six on my old Thrustmaster setup and now I struggle to make the back of the grid! lol.

It's just one of those things and I have to learn to deal with it and get used to it that's all. I have considered going over to the Heusinkveld Pro pedals but it won't be for a while yet. I did have a go on the HPP pedals at the Autosport show a few years back and they were great but very expensive.

.....and don't worry I'm very stubborn I don't give up easily on these type of things! I was just very tired on Saturday as well but I'm still enjoying the DTM cars anyway. Hopefully they'll make a return in another league on here and I'll be able to make more of an effort with practice. Until then roll on the next few rounds and I hope to manage to get some decent results :)

I did a 105% difficulty race yesterday and finished 3rd but that doesn't mean much as some of you are so fast!;)

I know what you mean by " The Super V8 feels like I'm trying to stop a bus!"... they really do
Never spent much time driving them, but one day I will

    Ohhh
And before they do return, I hope we'll see a rF2 FWD series here :D:cool:

    BTW
Have you tried the other URD mods for rF2?

I'm glad it's not just me then! haha :D

This wouldn't be Honda Civic related would it? I think I saw that request! :D

Yes I've done lots of AI racing with the PX and GTE mods and it's a lot of fun. I know that they can't simulate the hybrid part of the LMP1 cars as in real life but otherwise they are really nice pieces of work. Considering the cost of DLC on other racing titles the money they ask isn't too bad. I've also raced the Indycar cars in AC as well which I think were a bonus gift.

I suppose the criticism of the time taking for the PX mod to be finished is valid, however in their defence if the games didn't keep changing and breaking the mods they would probably be finished by now (or at least closer).

Having a field of 35-40 cars around Monza (in either AC or RF2) is a nice challenge. I always preferred the "view" in AC but the AI in RF2 but with the DX11 update they both look really nice now.

I know some forums don't like to use paid for content and that's fine but when I saw the DTM cars on here I was pleased at least one group was happy to race with them online :)

    Translation:
in my opinion I think for a next champ, the league could release at least abs low, so that some riders who do not have a high performance equipment do not take so much disadvantage to who has a hydraulic braking equipment, well we were simulating in thereal life this is good but on the go from equipment to equipment.

Good point Carlos will consider for season 2 in DTM ....
