Im home now and its 11:30 ish .. assuming you have the logitech profiler set for 900* and center spring off try this
I tweaked it to 75 33 33 50 0.20 I had an issue ,i was hosting old school DTM at Donnington when i went to make a FFb adjustment from 'options ' when i did that the session changed .. it was just bad timing on my part I should have just let the session change then go adjust my FFB ..Anyway it totally wiped my wheel from the game ....I had to re config and re assign all my buttons & all ...so be careful online going into options ..lol
Are you playing with no assists? .. tc, abs, stability control? ... I might try it again with your ffb settings... Did try the rallycross: great fun!!
Advice well taken. But I see that when you go online tonight, I'm aleady asleep. Why "Raw" and not "Immersive" ? I thought RAW is for wheels with Direct drive?
I just tried them all and Raw seemed to be better road feel ,then i adjusted the other stuff to tune it in a bit .. I was on immersive first & it diden't feel to bad .. But Raw seemed to turn up the over feel .. I believe Raw takes out all the canned effects and gets all its data from the suspension w/o the fake stuf .. but then i tune the fake stuff back in a little ..
Oke, I've tried the Camaro Z/28 on the streetcircuit Bannochbrae: Verdict ... Best damn car I've driven so far. Beautiful physics man! And that track ... Wow!! Perfect layout to ripp it up hahaha. And ... it's got animated cow's, people, water that flow's. That track is alive man haha. And it's beautiful! I'm loving this game more and more. It's very well done. FFB is pretty good with a bit of tweaking. Some car's are just briljant and some are a bit off IMO. Like the F1 Lotus 49. That cars drives like it has traction control. The rear should step out with too much throtlle. On the other hand, the F1 Lotus 98T (Senna's car) is briljant. In first or second gear you speed up with a bit of turbo lack, and suddenly the turbo kicks in and you're fishtailing all over the place. Love it! Another funny thing ... I did a multiclass race. I was in the P2 Oreca and turned the AI up to 95% on Dubai. And ... I got overtaken by the GTE's hahaha. I quite the race in shame LOL!
Yes I know what your talking about! The P2 vrs GTE issue has been acknowledged by sms .. also others have posted about the historic F1some clame that car did not have the guts to soin the tires! Lol anyway im looking forward to some racing here in the future with PC2!
This makes for a usefull read; Project cars 2 tips and tricks. https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/project-cars-2-tips-guide One thing that I have found is that the cars are trailing smoke on the first run out on track, like the engine is overheating. What's that all about?
6:29am Project CARS 2 - SMS_Bramhall Patch 1.1.3 - Release Notes AI: Various AI cornering and race line improvements across problematic tracks Improvements to AI balancing in snow and rain conditions First pass at improving simulated laptimes when skipping a non-race session Setups: Fix for the long delay when entering setup screen Car Tyres: Fix to ensure that the tyre treads are shown correctly after multiple tyre swaps Other: Fixed crash when using large Super Sampling values Fix for an intermittent crash caused by missing animated meshes Fix for lobby browsing and filtering that was preventing some users from joining MP gamesatch
Probably a dumb question - i'm too lazy to google: Does pc2 have true multiview support like rF2? I'm guessing yes, but wanted to make sure ...
yes it has... but i disagree with most opinions online that i read so far you can line up all three monitors just fine ... and the image is not a streched image like pc1 still, i find the side monitors to warp a bit (and that gives me nausea) ... that does not happen in ac, rf1, rf2, gsc... etc. maybe it's the sense of speed, fov, gforce settings that i have not mastered it or maybe it's not right yet but hey, better see for yourself most guys say it's great
for example, compare these two... look at the sense of speed (center monitor) and mostly look at the side monitors cheers
So i just tried Jack Spade's custom FFb files ... Wow ! I went with standard med with gain at 80 (he recommends 100-50-50-50 , Im at 80-50-50-50) and took the AMG gt3 out for a spin and red bull ..Last night i was struggling with the FFB in this car/track combo ..it was like if i went past 30* of wheel turn the tires felt like they were turned sideways on there edge ..I don't know how to explain but it made the car very unstable & it felt like you were stunt driving the car on 2 wheels fighting to keep the balance ..lol Im sure this was due to my constant tweaking of the sliders ending up with a mess of bad settings lol Now after Jack Spades its frikin fantastic ! i can turn the wheel/stere the car past that point where it seemed to byte and be on 2 wheels with my crap settings before and act like a real car again .. this more resembles rf2 now than ever before for me ... I uploaded them again here .. there are 8 files including a few for DD wheel's .. to use them place the files in the documents/pCars2 folder .. pick the one you want then simply rename it to ffb_custom_settings- you should delete or rename the original ffb_custom_setting file first ! (game will create a new one if one is not found at start up) .. then in game select custom and set the sliders 100-50-50-50 .. I went with standard _med first and I think i will just leave it The alt files are made from the RAW settings- 4 total with 1 DD low to high force levels. Standard are made from the intuitive settings- 4 total with 1 DD low to high force levels.
Tried it (edit: i tried other version, this is 1.1... i'll give it a shot) You should decrease volume and leave gain at max...
Im using raw 100, 40, 65 (so i feel more tire slip than road), 50, 10 Did not like jack spades that much (feels good on some cars tough)
