Wasn’t feeling 100% today, my own fault for doing a long run this morning. Which is not normally a problem but the windy weather meant I simply put too much effort in and I was ready for a nap before the start. My legs are still sore. Lol. Been away from running too long.

Anyway, qualifying didn’t go to plan, I could do low 48’s in practice but just didn’t get it together when needed.

Got an ok start, got stuck behind another car and lost some positions, went wide, lost some more positions. So I was nearly last. Oh great….haha.

So I’ve been doing quite a bit of practice, the softs only lasted about 10-13 laps so I started on mediums with an almost full tank. Went as fast and far as I could (lap times were good once I’d got my act together) pitted with 20 minutes to go and swapped to softs. I could then bash in 49’s quite easily.

Was trying to close in on @Barrett Erickson (again!) but the tyres were starting to lose their best on the last few laps. Otherwise my race went ok.

So to start 10th, drop to last and then race my way up to 8th is ok. Maybe should’ve been 6th or 7th if I’d had a clean race.

Well done to everyone and the podium finishers.

I’m supposed to be up to 10 miles on my "easy" Sunday run next time around…..think I’ll make some coffee and dig out the energy drinks. Lol.

it's very cool to run like that. Unfortunately, after the fracture and surgery, I am still not able to run 50 meters.

Well I took a plane to Magnificent park yesterday, just to find out that the race there was canceled and I had to take another plane to China.. I came just in time for 15min of practise :)
I didn't know the track, so it was very intense. Thanks Toni and Roman for a setup. I took Toni's (first came). After 15min of practise I was 5s down from the leader. I went to Q to learn the track more, didn't care about time, and it was P12 for me. I made a good start and went surprisingly good through the first corners and soon I was P7, I think. At the half way into the race I made a pitstop, cut some grass on the way to box and missed my limiter key, so I got a 10s penalty..
After the penalty stop, I came out P9, where I ended the race.
All in all I'm happy with the race. See you on the next one!

p.s.: anyone have replay to share?

I'm sorry to hear that my friend, I hope you're 100% soon :)

I try my best. I'm not a born sports person (I can't kick or throw to save my life! lol) but running gives me some mental freedom from the daily problems in life, I was trying to take it easy yesterday but battling against the weather took it's toll on me!:)

I do have a replay file, I'll try to upload it later on but it may be on the event page soon as well.

I see S397 have now put in the proper controls for the camera mode too, will have to try those out later.

Hello, my race started 50 minutes before qualifying, a race against time, when it turned out that the throttle potentiometer was failing. I unscrewed and screwed the pedals twice using a preparation that regenerates potentiometers. (temporarily fixed)
I joined the server 5 minutes before the start.
Qualifying: far from perfect, but I managed to stand in the front row.
Race: only a bit of uncertainty at the start whether Kostas won't make a mistake this time ;), he lined up right behind me  then an hour of steady driving, conservative settings, average pace, Roman far ahead. I finish in second place.

Finally, these are my thoughts after two races
As long as Toni tortures the hard tires, Roman will be bored up front.

    Regards
