Hi everyone, my apologies for missing this one.

I had a request for a F3 livery for the RDGP league starting in a few weeks time, so I was working all day Sunday on it. Final car looks great, however it looks like the driver hasn't met the entry requirements and totally forgot to attend the prequalifying session on Saturday...

So unless they change their mind he's out before he's even begun.

Anyway I'll share my hard work on here as I don't think anyone will ever see it...

Based on the #99 car of Dale Wood in the Aussie V8 Touring Cars. Quite simple but works well I think. The hard part is finding some of the obscure Australian sponsors.

I hope the F3 race on Assetto Corsa went ok for you

They used that mod for a previous RDGP league if I remember. Like you guys some liked it and some didn't. I think if you like the physics of a particular game that also plays a factor in what you like. I like to be very smooth and that doesn't always work well in AC for some reason.

I havent tried it myself, but... i would
Lets race it at Silverstone or Barcelona...they are great for fast OW and everyone, i think, is familiar with them

We should also try a race with the gra class (Mercedes and Bmw) ...they are far better than the bmw235i..and more fun!!

I'm a bit confused. Everyone enjoyed the F3 mod. Why oh why does it have to change again?

Since tomorrow is a national holiday, i'll be home today and i'll take it for a spin...
I'll post here what i think of it.

Now, if you want to go with the Dallara, or the BMW 235i, fine (the first better than the second IMO).. i don't even know if i can make the series..
But since we are trying some mods... i already gave some suggestions (EXOS and the GRA CLASS) and i'm open to others' too

It's not the first time John talked about this mod, i think we should check it out

 

Don't get me wrong John. Its just that I feel that one can just do so many races in one week. If you look at this group, there is a championship race almost every day. Granted its on different sims, but still. I can understand that different people like different sims/cars but sometimes its just to much. I myself like to do 2 or 3 races a week, but i'm one of the exceptions. I can understand people being able to do only 1 race a week. This diversity however makes for lower attendance for the races being organised here which I feel is a shame. Lots of honest, fair drivers here and as you know I enjoy the races.

A suggestion could be (and I think it was already suggested by Rob or Nigel) is to do the F3 series first and let that grow into a "faster" (read faster cars) series.

 

Very COOL mod this one!!!! Brings out the best in AC!
And also a very very demanding one...
Took it for some laps at Silverstone and Spa.. i'm beat!!
