Ok. maybe I'm really stupid, but, please tell me where is the layout name for this race?

 

For me the only match for "Slovakiaring" was ... Slovakiaring

 

Please put a note in "Event Notes" for me when we have multiple layouts. Because looks like I'm the only one who miss layout every time

 

I always do 1 practice lap as soon as the server is online. That way you know the layout.
But you are correct; would be nice to have it in the track description

As I never really practice offline, this is not an issue for me. However, I cannot recommend the used layout or track, because it is buggy. Myself and probably Kiril lost a lap after an excursion through the gravel trap. Not ideal, but ok this fits to my season so far. Race before that was ok, it was exhausting to fight with Paul, because it is really hard to stay in the rythm following someone. And loosing the rythm is deadly with that car.

My race was over after 2 laps after a trip into the gravel. I really struggled with that track for some reason. It seemed quite straightforward at first but every lap was a different line for me. I just couldn't figure it out. Very frustrating.
The race between @Roy Cop and @Kiril Kirilov was so tight but what happened?
Suddenly the whole field was juggled.
Was that the bug? I did notice something weird when I was practicing against the AI. I was leading (at a humble 100%), span out and suddenly I was last when no one passed me. Is that the bug?
Anyway, 1 more round. I am definitely continuing to improve but I guess you guys are as well. It has been great to be pushed so hard but my concentration really needs to improve.

 

Exactly, I assume by going wide and off the track, into turn four, you can miss a check point. As a result, you do not finish the lap passing start finish at the next occasion, that happens only if you get that check point the next time by. See in the result, Kiril and I both have a lap with 3 minutes and a first sector that took longer than 2 minutes.

Thats how you lose positions without getting past. A shame, because the track is not bad but here it is not that great.

 

If that's what happened, then I feel that John or Ken should add 1 lap to your result. After review ofcours

 

This time I got the chance to race a bit with Roy because of his mistake on the first lap. Unfortunately, I gave up the position too easily because I made a mistake later in the race in the penultimate corner. But he was faster as usual anyway. To be honest, I didn't even pay attention to the fact that I ended up only 5th because I crossed the line in 2nd place. My teammate told me that after the race. Yes, something like that is of course very unpleasant, but whether I'm 2nd or 5th doesn't make a big difference to me. It is the admin decision. See you in the final round, guys.

 

Probably not a bad thing, I noticed it right afterwards and lost all concentration and another position. So a lap more or less makes no difference for me too, neither personally nur in the endresult.

I just brought that up, so that the admins can consider if that fact makes the track good enough to race on, or not.

 

If that's the issue, then I have a fully functional and error free version of the track.
