Sorry for the bump in the last corner Toni. I wasn't getting DRS availability and was trying to work out how close i needed to be.

The answer: not that close!!!!

Hope that wasn't the cause of your long pit stop.

That said...

This race was great fun start to finish! Nice to be racing with some of the old R2P crew!

Race...wrong tyre choise, maybe next time tes abit, it spoiled my 1st stint but still
chances for podium no problem. Untill mess up at pits. a##ho##s started to fill up tank. Another new thing learned.

Hey guys, good to be back on track after many months not really racing much.

Surprised to be so competitive having never driven these before but really enjoyed it.

Got caught out trying not to hit Toni early and slipped down the order, pitted earlier than planned due to a wide vd Geest car :-] and slowly made my way back up.

Plenty fast enough towards the end by ran out of laps to catch the front two.

Good to get out there again and look forward to the upcoming series.

Pinnacle 1 and 3, just like old times haha!

 

For the first round of the championship I was having problems with my pedals. Didn't realise it then as the mod was new to me and I thought it was me but the problem became obvious at Toban. Played around with it and got it right for Norisring. Only to have the problems come back up again at Mills. Tried playing around with everything again but still couldn't get it right for Portugal. Was forced to admit that I was getting nowhere so made the big decision to invest in a new set of pedals. Got the pedals Palm Springs race day and spent all day changing my rig and got to try out the pedals 1/2 hour before the race. Off I went to Palm Springs, happy to get there in time. Used the default set-up, and forget to put the fuel for the pit stop but hell, my pedals were working and I finished the race!
So with Malaysia it was like it was the first race of the championship and I told myself this is fun. Had an off in the first or second lap avoiding punting someone which put me at the back. Managed a seventh place which isn't too bad for me so I was happy.
Am getting used to the mod now and my pedals so am ready to attack.
Only problem is the next race is the last and I can't make it.
Oh well,

 

I had my setup right, for fuel i mean, as i do in all races. But this time i had a disco in warmup that messed up my setup (because of parc fermé, i think)..
I never needed to, so i went to pit without looking ---> and this time i lost 8x seconds on refulling (and my setup was set right, as is since race1.. i just tweak a thing or two)
Went pit in first place --- left pit in God knows what position

I'm done with this series.. and this mod

I had 2 setups, 1 for the race and 1 for quali, the warmup finished and I loaded my race setup and joined. only to see I had 2 laps of fuel. 1 did the warmup lap and the 1st lap then pitted for fuel, it took 147 seconds for fuel and 120 for tyres. Oh and the yellow square on the dash that turns green when the DRS active was not there. either the mod is broke or parc ferme is doing strange things .

 

The drs is like Rob said...but the fuel thing i believe you..there's something very wrong...

But my setup was right...i just added fuel and still it refulled when i went to pit
This is race 9...i know since race1 how to setup the car...and the setup is basically always the same
I supose it was because i had a disco during warm up...that's the only explanation

 

And it will still be intense...just not with me
There's lots of good drivers in this series...you'll do fine without me
Its hard enough racing otther drivers...going against bugs is out of my reach

 

Yes... but if you put 1 stop with 0 liters you dont need to do that
I know because i did it the other 8 races
