i catched a clue at mid point and then started to go faster and faster, hit 1.17.8 and still time on the table but when you dont really know where it is, you gotta test it lol

That was a great race other than not getting heat in my rear tyres causing a lot of oversteer. This let lots of cars by me. I caught them quick and had a hard time getting past Ken because the track for some reason becomes very narrow when following ken. I got along side of him going in to the sweeping right and bounced the curb taking me outwards in to him. I apologize to Ken for the harsh pass. I was on the edge of giving my self a drive thru! I should have tried safer places for a couple more laps. After that though, I had great clean fights with both Toni and Philip. Thank you for those fun times.

    Once again Sorry Ken!

NP Paul. From my seat it seemed like I had left racing room, but the replay showed otherwise, although you did avoid contact, until the kerbs upset your car and pushed it wider into me. It was inevitable you and Toni would get by  at some point but I had to make it as hard as possible didn't I?

A shocking night for me. I practised hard all week against the AI but struggled constantly with severe oversteer. I was improving but still vulnerable on a few corners.
Total dismay when I joined the server - my 2-34 was some 20 seconds behind the pole, about 15%. I've improved to around 7-8% in recent races so I knew it was going to be a long night.
Very despondent after my first spin and it didn't get any better.

Tough track, no worries Simon, was similar for me. When I joined, I was way off and needed to find a huge chunk of time. Maybe for turn one I had a Toni moment, for the rest not so much. For that, I would also need a clue, to get to that level. And many more to gain time on the leaders.

With my great start I punched over my weight, Ken helped me a bit by keeping Paul and Toni behind for a while. In my mirror it looked horrendous, how hart you both hit the wall. I did not really slow you down (or at least Paul) and at some point I was passed by Paul and Toni. I tried to stay in your clutches but yeah, did not really work. So I decided to bring the car home, because the risk was too high to crash like Toni (that turn was also my favorite crash zone in practice).

    See you next time.

I would be lying if I said I liked this car. It's lacking a bit of power. But this race was really good. Maybe because Roy didn't do his homework very well or it's because I particularly like street tracks. I like the feeling that you're fastest when you're closest to the walls. I hit them twice too... but that's another story :D Thanks to Roy for the good emotions and congratulations on winning again.
@Ken, do you already have an idea for the next AC Championship?

Yes I do, at least as far as the car goes. Why do you ask? Did you have something in mind?

    My review.
In offline practice I thought I was doing OK. To go really fast the car got very tail happy, but I figured it would be fine.
Then online practice started. Immediately noticed Kiril was faster. At first I couldn't figure out what made him go that fast. Then I noticed he had better acceleration out of the corners and he reached top speed at higher RPM. My gearing was way off... However it was close to the start of qualifying so I had only 2 laps to try the change I had made to the gearbox.

    Quali:
On the outlap I couldn't get the tires in their best operating window because upon exiting the pit I was too close to the car in front. 2nd lap as a result of tires not being up to temp and the changed gearing I spun and crashed the car. There was no time to get back to the pit and restart so I stayed out. The car did feel better, but that might be down to the tires reaching the window and me concentrating better. Pulled a very good lap, but Kiril did better. Wanted to do a do or die attempt on the last timed lap but it wasn't to be. Tried to hard :(
    Anyway, Kiril pole, me 2nd.

    Race:
I now knew the gearing was good, but the car was still tail happy. All in all not to bad as I didn't need to win this or the next race.
For some reason Kiril's start again was not as good as mine or the car in 3rd (Philip I believe). Got alongside Kiril's car, but decided to back out a bit for that 1st corner. Did not want to chance a crash with Kiril. Not my style and not Kiril's either. Anyway, was in 2nd. Stayed as close as I could to Kiril trying to make him nerveous. Due to a small error on my side Kiril opened up the gap to 1 sec. Then 6 minutes in the race he hit the barrier, spun it and cause a brown moment for me. Tried to avoid running into him and only brushed the car. By the time he recovered I had a 5 or 6 second lead. Knowing he was faster I couldn't go for safe, so had to keep doing laps on the limit. The gap stayed about the same for a good number of laps. Then, a big error by me. By the time I recovered Kiril had passed me. In 2nd again. Back to chasing him. With about 3 laps to go I got closer to him. Looked like his car was no longer as stable as it was before. My tires were at their end too. Staying super concentrated I creaped up to him. Then on the Final lap (I believe) Kiril hit the barrier again handing me the opportunity to take back the lead. At that point the left side tires had gone. Slowed down to not lose the car and got the win.
To be honest Kiril should have won this one, but as this is racing sometimes things happen and the result is not as it should or could have been.
Anyway, good race again and up to the next one. A track I never heard of and certainly have never driven.

I'm always working on ideas for upcoming series, especially during the final half of the current series :). If anyone wants to volunteer time for testing or series compilation as a sub-admin then by all means send me a PM.
