I will change the description of the formation lap, but it was clearly stated in the drivers briefing that there was a formation lap and rolling start.

Arms are absolutely dead from that race and the car was a complete handful the entire time it was on track. Not sure if everyone else was constantly experiencing the awful track bumps but it made it pretty tough to stay on track. Setup changes didn't seem to help too much to make the car more driveable.

Qualifying was pretty tight between @Nick Westy and I, and we went back and forth for pole. Eventually managed to just about take pole.

Started on the R600 tyres as I was wanting to stay out for about 40 laps and conserve the fuel in the first stint. I led for a few laps, but Nick was too fast behind (think he started on the soft tyre and was pushing with fuel), and overtook me a few laps into the race. I fought back and went for a move into the modern T1 but outbraked myself and made contact with Nick. I gave myself a drive-through penalty because I was fairly sure it was my fault at the time. Afterwards, it was a four-way fight for the lead, with @Johnny Gutierrez and Richard. I didn't want to push too hard because I was trying to stick to a fuel target and not make a mistake. Took the lead again, but Nick found his way past by outbraking me into the hairpin. As his tyres went off I pulled the gap down to less than a second. He pitted about 4 or 5 laps before me, and my overcut put me just 3 seconds behind Johnny for the fight for the lead. Managed to sneak past after a few laps due to being on the soft tyres for the first time and afterwards I was able to build my lead and control the gap from there. Really happy with the strategy and the result. Congrats to the rest of the podium :)

Also, would like to point out that some of the lapped cars were pretty dangerous this race. Had two incidents with @Jason Whited at separate points because he was unpredictable in front and didn't stick to a line. I know that it's not an obligation to let the race leaders through, but please stick to the racing line or be predictable if a car is coming up to lap you.

The reason that was displayed to the rest was the same as the last time:

"0:00:00 "Stephen Wenham" rejoining with different vehicle detected
0:00:00 "Stephen Wenham" refused connection due to invalid vehicle selection or configuration"

I also noticed, that in the monitor section on the lef of your name, instead of Mazda|Porsche|Sauber "Unknown" was shown. And below the car icon there were grey three dots, where normally a green thick or something appears.

So something seems wrong on your side, may be it is a skin or a car configuration when you chose the vehicle. Maybe you try a different car and check if you see the same "Unkown" or reinstall the mod. Just suggestions, I have no clue what the cause of this error is.

First of all, good broadcast Rob. The battle between Nick and Maddie looked feisty, good to watch.
To my race, after Le Mans my expections were already low, but I assume the aero config was something I forgot aswell as turbo dial options. I hoped to play with thath would help, but the first laps of practice horrible. I was not only slow, I crashed every second turn.

So I was sure, that will be 90 minutes of pain (at least a bit less than when watching some of the EUROS matches that go into overtime).

Fortunately, it was not that bad. The solution was to race with lower turbo dial settings, which made the car way better to drive. It had also the side effect of saving a lot of fuel. Maybe it could have been close to avoid any fuel stop. But with 30 minutes to go, I ran out of tyres. Then I made the mistake of refueling too much but not sure if that 35 seconds would have made a difference. But it was not wise to crank up the turbo dial to 7 because that made the faster but also a handful. When I had no off, the pace was quite ok. I hope I can build up on that.

Oh an @Freddy Hell, I am sorry for your crash. I thought it was better to give way after the turn but maybe that was wrong.

Sebring is a pool table compared to this truck, I had to reduce the force feedback during practise to succeed to run here. Congrats for the win Maddie

Congrats Maddie and to the podium.

Good racing from all, I'm just happy to see the chequered flag what an absolutely brutal track with the bumps. I seemed to lose all pace in the final laps not sure if it was tyres or just me losing concentration but happy with P5.

Thanks @Rob Milliken for another broadcast.

    On to the next

Thank you to everyone sporting the Aptora logo on their cars and thanks again to Gilles for the sweet car liveries.. Looked great during the broadcast. I enjoyed watching the broadcast as much as the F1 race today. Thanks Rob! Your work is really good and fun to see everyone else on track. Grats to Maddie for the big win on a very technical track.

Endless Ocean. . Perfectly mimicking a perfect sunset. .
"Focus only on your happy place"
A warm evening. . water, lapping gently on the shore of an empty beach . .
"Now, . Breath deeply. . Use your words. . Say what happened. . "

Lost all FF Sensations when I joined the grid
A common 'rFactor thing' for me, is for my wheel to suddenly lose all force-feedback sensations. Working fine one minute . . then (often after making a setup change) limp and lifeless the next. A 'dead' wheel that's impossible to realistically or enjoyably use.
Pressing 'esc' fixes it :) . . . but ends the race :(
Couldn't race with a limp and lifeless wheel.
Two weeks looking forward to it, then, 30 seconds and it's all over :(. . (I'm sure I've heard my wife complain about something similar)
    Soooo disappointing. .

Did you try the Force Feedback Reset key? For me it's "K" on the keyboard. If I lose FFB I press K and it's back.

I've set my force feedback button on my button box. I tend to lose force feedback when coming out of the pits sometimes. So on track, I just press the button and the force feedback comes alive again.

Hi, sorry for not showing up. The track surface was extremely bumpy and it made it very difficult to drive and I couldn't enjoy it at all, even though I love these cars and the Montreal track very much. I practiced for the race, but I left before qualifying. I think I'll be back at Silverstone.

    Hi Olli,
It's best to take yourself of the list of the event that you won't race, otherwise you'll be registered as a no show :)
Hope to see you in the next races.

From my view you appeared to clip a curb in front of me at casino and span, I couldn't help but drive into the side of you. Not sure when you hit ESC?. Anyway, I had damage but carried on for a bit as these cars are really fun. The track bumps not so much. Will be back for the next one with a bit more practice and perhaps less FFB :)
    Grats finishers and podium.

You are in no way to blame for the contact, Oli. It was entirely my fault for losing control in front of you. You couldn't avoid my accident. My apologies. Sorry for ruining your race Oli.
I first hit escape on the formation lap. Immediately 'cancelled' it and continued with the lap. Still no FF. The race started and I quickly realised it was pointless! Almost immediately hit a barrier, quickly followed by hitting 'esc' a second time and quitting out of the race.
I found it helped by turning down the mods bespoke Force Feedback and turning up rFactor's 'Smoothing'.
