RaceRoom,Really no one?

So I downloaded the game and set it up mostly.
Now let's see what tomorrow's update will bring. If I like it, I will buy the Group 5 cars.

How many cars can go on any track in multiplayer?
It doesn't say in the track info.

 

I can't remember off the top of my head, but it should be easy to figure out on my return next week, or maybe a google search will reveal the answer.

 

And having done just that the answer is 24.

 

Thank you. 24 is a bit on the low side, but I guess we have to start small.

 

I'd love to see 24 attendees turn up regularly for our races, irrespective of the Sim used, so I think it's a good number.

 

I downloaded the new update and played around with it a bit.

- If you go to "Store" from the main menu, you can drive every car before buying. That is pretty cool.
- I tested it before the update as well and compared it to the graphics after the update, and it looks much better.
- The physics of every car is pretty unique and feels pretty good.
- Good FFB, no complaints. The weight loads up in the corners like it should.
- No flat spots on the tyres - shame
- No rain or night - shame
- Very good AI - I'm impressed.
- Car models look very good

Verdict ... some minor stuff like no rain, flat spots etc, but apart from that a quality game.
I'm in for Multiplayer.

 

Question;
Do you have to buy all the cars within 1 class for multiplayer, or can you just buy 1 car and download the software of the other cars for free - like rFactor2?
Like the GT3 class.

 

Thanks, does that also apply to multiplayer?
For example, in the GT3 category, I only have to buy a porsche and can race against all the rest?

 

@Ken Jagger, do you need to own every car in a class (GTR, GT3) for multiplayer, like the old rFactor 2 system?

 

I can't remember exactly John but I don't think so. I'll check it out when I get back end of next week.
