As in the real world Super Formula Japan series, we will be mirroring the need to complete a mandatory pit stop for tyres

I cant find reference in the forum link to the last running to what the car is in game! is it a 3rd party mod? Is it official mod?

The DL link from the Steam Workshop is on the first race event page as normal https://simracingonline.co.uk/racing/eventinfo/2236

I tried this mod a few days ago, but it was strange, top speed less than 250km/h.. is there something I have to set up correctly?
Edit: When starting from pits, with no throtle, the throtle is cca. 20% open, bad acceleration and top speed under 250. Anyone has an idea what to try, to solve this?

It might be due to slight difference between the standard SF and SFE car selections? The SF has slightly more power but not a lot, while the SFE apparently has a lighter engine and therefore a lower C of G.

Note this extract from the Steam Workshop page:
Class: SuperFormulaEXTRA2017 is the fantasy team with engine.
ACCR has slightly lower power than others. However, ACCR provide the Low Center of Gravity by lightweight engine.
ROTAS has much more power than others. However, It's Heavy, High fuel consumption, and Poor reliability.

Just tested this one myself, and have the same issue something going on with the mod?

Tested and it also happens for me too. Out of interest what wheel/pedals do you use? I use a Fanatec CSLDD & Clubsport V3. The clutch/brake pedals indicators don't respond for me.

I'm thinking it's possibly an rF2 update since we last used the mod that has broken it. I'll post in the Steam Workshop, but will probably have to use a similar car type for the series instead. A shame as the mod was pretty good last time.

OK rather than hang about waiting for a fix from the Dev (unlikely) I've changed the car mod we will use to the closest thing in performance terms, the Formula Renault 35, with which we have had some great series. It should fit well with the Japanese tracks we are using.
Due to those changes anybody registered will need to unregister/re-register for the series. This can be done by selecting "Unregister" on the series page and confirming you want to unregister from the series. You can then register again as normal.

There are only dry and wet tyres with Formula Renault.
