Free open beta threw the weekend up on Steam ! I tried it a little last night pretty cool , ran it in 4k .. nice features , quick paced with lots of action .. although i dont fend to well i still enjoyed it alot ! I wonder if it will have campaign mode? Anyone else trying it?
Anyone knows how long the single player campain is? I sure hope it's not just 4 hours like battlefield 1.
So I must say I did like the demo .. I can tell because I wanted to play it some more after the beta ended ! hah I suck in fast paced MP shooters caz I'm just to frikin old but I did ok in this one ..racing helps keep your reflexes up lol The demo was MP only so I never got a glimpse of the single player mode ... You know you can play Camp mode in the older Bf games ..BF4 has some pretty good co-op missions vrs the AI that you can play online with friends ..
Game was released today ! & yes a nice single player campaign comes with it ,in fact the game downloads 2 installs- camp & multi play .. ( 36 gigs of campaign files)! I did not have allot of time as I'm off to work but the 15 min I spent with the campaign was amazing ! if anyone else grabs this state of the art next gen shooter let me know ..we can start the SRO clan !
I'm locked and loaded Rob. We can do Zombie co-up When I first looked at the YouTube campaign clips, I thougth the game was too easy cause the germans were dropping like flies under fire. Luckely now I've played it on Hard, the game is not easy at all. That's a relieve. On Veteran we will be slaughtered LOL. Like the sound very much and the gameplay. Game is pretty too. Only they need to shut up about "Daniels do this and Daniels do that ..." Also the "Oohh thanks Daniels for saving our lives ..." is a bit patronising. C'mon man, stop with the self asteem boost ...
Lol .. i have 4 more hrs at work & then im going to give it a solid go ! .. You played on hard ? Lol i died on the beach on recruit ! Haha .. i suck at fps games lol but i still like them ..
Well, I didn't say I made it in 1 go on the beach LOL!! I died a lot!! I was running from cover to cover while diving, crawling, crouting and crying for my mother !! Like the game a lot so far. The sound of battle is immens! But I like it better if the game is difficult instead of a easy shooting gallery. I can't tell you how many times I've died already. But I'm also still just looking at stuff and experimenting what the AI does and how they react to me. To be honest I bought the game just for the single player campaign. I'm too slow for multyplayer LOL. Those guys will slaughter me! In MP you don't have time to sit around and access the situation hahaha. You have to be moving and looking around all the time while having a split second reactiontime. I can't muster that energie anymore hahaha.
Hahah i know exactly what you mean .. & the game is pretty cool ! I also am in it mostly for the campaign .. We can do the coop missions ! Im stuck at an Iron door to clear the last bunker by the mortar launcher ..cant open it ..games like stuck ? lol took a break ... Then I set the pc2 server up w/ V8 SC at knockhill like Tuesdays race ! did some P & Q + a 7 lap race......... those Assuie V8's are beasts ! But now I'm goin back to the bunker & see if I can clear that level !
I have a 2TB HDD filled with unplayed STEAM games, so I wait on new releases having all the bugs ironed out first and when it goes on sale. You guys must have big bank balances to splash out on all the new stuff at FULL price
I bought Mine after hacking JVDG's Steam account .. OK John , wtf is up with the Guy waiting for you after you clear the bunkers ?? you know you go in the doorway and he instantly grabs you and bayonets you to death ! then it plays it over & over and its gruesome lol ! I see the icon with the F key like your supposed to fight back using the F key but it does nothing for me lol .. I'm totally stuck there now .. On another note the MP side is pretty cool ! it kinda plays out like a camp as you start to play first you need to get orders and get in a division ..it was pretty cool !
Thats funny, I hacked your steam account for PC2 LOL. It's like this. You have to keep tapping the F key aiming your mouse at the knife in his hand. Then when it zooms to the helmet, you see the mouse symbol. You have to pull the mouse to the middle of the helmet untill the white line is gone and press F ass soon as you see it appear. Only, it changes every time you're too late. From F to C and space. You have to see what comes up. You just have to time it right as soon as it appears. Took me like 20 tries untill I figured it out LOL. Yeah, it's a bitch that one.
Lol i never see a mouse icon only the f floating around .. & my mouse commands dont seem to do anything ! Hahah
You have too see something when the camera zooms to the helmet you have to hit him with. For me it was the mouse picture. It shows the F ect. in the middle. When you time it right, you pick up the helmet and basch him with it. Pull the mouse to the centre (keep the left mouse button pressed) and press what ever key comes up . But first do the F tapping thing.
