it was a race with events im sure...
Q on final try did some overpushing and lost it, was going on pole on sector 1 by a ok margin.
R Nick got to side of me and just concentrated on keeping line and giving space avoiding all possible contact so lost spot. Greedy B...... that one. Leave a space and he sure is gonna take it! Was going to follow 1st stint but that dirty air did bad for my car everytime i went close and when follow someone elses tracks, kind of lose your own rhytm. That escalated into spin and lost front wing. Went for repairs and tyres and after that decided to push it while spinning few more times so eventually race was nightmare and lost my bearings for a while.
@Kostas Kantzouras 1st pass surely no contact? 2nd pass contact, what happened?
Awesome drive by Nick, congrats and Robin is starting to be the Q master on every car it seems. Damn...

I remember being rear ended at some point, as I had enough damage at the rear of the car from that point on.. It was supposed to be a fun race for me because I had good pace to be in the leading group, but first corner incident ruined everything once again, to the point that I thought that maybe I should give up and go drive Bahrain

I started the stream too early and had to vamp a bit in practice :D

Sorry about the mic issues mid race, I had to restart OBS to fix it!

    Part 1 and Part 2

@Robin Taylor How did you lose all that time in the pits? You pitted with 10 seconds gap, then seemed to jump to 20??

What a relief, two weeks ago I had one of my worst races but this was one of my best. Not sure why, maybe Tonis helped as better foundation (thanks by the way), or Sugo suits me more. I was a bit concerned after practise, because it was so hard to avoid spinnig or keeping the tyre deg at a reasonable level. Seems that I found the right balance and brought it home without any major issue, except for the start.

I had to check what happened there, because in the heat of the moment I only noticed a half spinning Kostas and bam...
Woody has us covered with his neat broadcast but to understand this particular scene I had to watch the replay. I allow myself to share that with you

Not fully sure, if could have opened the steering earlier, anticipating what will happen. So I had a ton a luck not to spin.

Regarding the rest, nice move from Nick, congrats and also congrats to Robin. See you in two weeks.

I didn't blame anyone for that, it was my fault.. I was used to braking a bit later and so I spun trying not to hit the car in front of me..

I pitted a few laps before id planned, thinking that Toni might catch back up in the undercut, but I wasn't ready for the stop, so faffed about trying to select tyres, lost a few seconds

Good race all, looked like there was some mayhem in T1, Congrats Nick

    Great work on stream Woodie.
