For this race I’ll shift to hypercars, is it normal that fuel mixture doesn’t affect speed and lap times? I run same times both with safety car mixture and qualifying mixture

It does make a little difference, and it made enough of a difference to make a race with one stop instead of two on 2 occasions for me ;)
Safety car mixture with some lifting..
Won't make it tonight, hope you all have a good race!

I'm more than 2 seconds slower than the others, there's something I don't understand yet, or it's simply lack of practice

You have to select the e-sport tyre warmers in the car selection menu, where you have the customise button.

    Drivers briefing

    1. All 6 events of this series will be broadcast
    Broadcaster: Rob Milliken
    [IMG]

    2. Bahrain Conditions
    1) The race will start at 03:00 PM (in-game time of course) and will go into the night in the last part of the race. See Post #1.
PUT YOUR HEADLIGHTS ON "AUTO" TO AVOID A DQ
    2) Time acceleration = x 4. Fuel = normal / Tires = normal
    3) Cut Track points are set to 6
    4) 100% damage
    5) Race weather = dry - see post #02
    6) Qualification is set to "private". That means that you will be alone on track so you can put in your best time without traffic (point 3 qual rule still applies).
    7) YOU HAVE TO USE THE SAME CAR THROUGHOUT THE SERIES THAT YOU CHOOSE FOR YOUR FIRST EVENT, BUT YOU CAN CHANGE CAR CLASS.

    HOW WE START THE RACE

    1. The pole sitter leads the Formation Lap at approximately 120 km/h.
    2. The Formation Lap is done in "single" file.
    3. When both pole sitters EXIT the last corner for their class the race starts.
    4. You can not overtake anyone BEFORE you exit the last corner yourself.

    3. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    - You run out of fuel in the pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    4. You can find the password for the race server on the Bahrain event page.

    5. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

PLEASE DO NOT UN-REGISTER YOURSELF AFTER THE RACE, OTHERWISE WE'LL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE RESULT SOFTWARE.

    6. Please use the
SAME NAME in the rFactor 2 game as on our SRO signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

You can change your name in the rFactor 2 "Profile" menu.

    7. If you plan to PROTEST another driver, you have to wait 24 hours counting from the end of the race.

Any protest filed before that time will be viewed as not received. You can find the rules about submitting a protest here.

    8. You can find the server by typing SRO or the track name. Add the server to your favourites so you can always find it.
If you can't find the server in the rFactor 2 server list, you can access this way:
    1. click on this link: https://simracepackages.lima-city.de/rF2server/
    2. scroll down to "SRO" (it's alphabetical)
    3. choose the correct server and Join with the password (see point 4 above)
    4. the server will start automatically and will take you to the event

great pace, Barrett! I saved fuel and tires, but I drove as fast as I could with this economy. I also had to avoid encountering lmph, which were sometimes quite dangerous. And you created competition in such a way that I had no chance for a single mistake.

I thank John for an interesting championship, Rob for media support and all the competitors for interesting races. It looks like I will have some break, most likely I will see you on the tracks in 2025.

Thanks John for organizing the championship and thanks to Rob for the commentary, really great. It was a shame that Johnny and Kahel retired, without them my races were a bit boring, Roman was uncatchable. Tonight with 499P my pace was disastrous, but I enjoyed battling with Marek and John

Thanks Roman, it was great fun running with you and Mark!

Not used to being at "the pointy end" but i guess all the really fast guys (other than Roman) decided to do something else today, and Roman decided to do a save fuel and tires strategy. I didn't. Tires held but i suspect i took more fuel than Roman. And of course, when he didn't have to save after my stop, he was 2sec/lap faster than i was. Good strategy!

Pretty sure it only tightened toward the end because he wanted more camera time on Rob's stream :).

It did help that i've spent a few weeks working on FOV, FFB, latency and FPS, trying to make my really old racing rig behave more like it did 6 years ago and thru that, regained a lot of feel and confidence in the car.

Thanks to SRO, John, and Rob!

As with almost any BVR Team Championship, really... Ed is the difference: a steady, invaluable points machine in any series he runs. The guy gains 3 to 5 spots every race average, and often much more.

Thanks. Tonights race didn't work for me. The car didn't hook up to me at all or visa versa. Anyway, it's time for something new :)

    Glad the season is over...

It is clear that nothing was really learned from round 1. Many that closed their ears about suggestions of Hypers calming down and respecting GT3s, were the culprits of bad lapping throughout the season. "MUST GET PASSED MUST GET PASSED"

I don't think it was a coincidence that a couple of GTs quit the series after round 4 because of this situation. I hope that at least this shows that there was a problem. Maybe due to the difference in speed between the classes, or just the reluctance of those in the hyperclass to give any respect to the GTs race at all and seeing them as just as an obstacle. Far TOO AGGRESSIVE to make it safe to race.

There have been many times through this series that I had to take avoiding action because of an out of control hypercar.

I for one won't be doing multiclass here in the near future unless something changes, it's just not fun.

Thanks to the GT3s I had battle with for this season.
