LMU 1.jpg Drivers, we will start initial testing with LMU in the coming weeks / days.
Due to the fact that LMU does not offer dedicated servers, we will be using the 397's RaceControl "Host your own" feature! This will give us the use of their servers on a 'per race' schedule, meaning we will be practicing offline on our own or joining similar events using the same tracks, and cars in the LMU MP dailies!
One of the things we will be looking at is how to implement the registration and result scoring (We do have the SimGrid option that does all this for us already) you can follow Simracingonline on SimGrid HERE make sure to hit the "Follow" button ;)..

We are looking at a possible test run Friday Dec 20th @ 20:00 GMT using non DLC GTE & LMP2 @ Sebring .. check out simracingonline SimGrid

Sim Grid is not mandatory while we test things out but please check it out and register if you can make it!
the server will be in the hosted section of LMU MP using our default PW you will also have the PW from SimGrid If you register their..
We need to edit our database on the site before we can have registration for LMU here as of now it's WIP.

More to come as we fine-tune the details so stay tuned!
This forum is open for any feedback :)
    The first event is HERE

Drivers! We are dropping the event down to a single class event featuring the GTE’s for this first test! So if you signed up at SG with one of the LMP2’s you will need to re register!
Remember this is all just unofficial testing. even if you cant get signed up you can still race by simply joining the server on race day! The more drivers the better for these initial tests.

As theres no specific details, how long is the race? private qually?

I mean it is the week before Xmas, getting anyone to turn up should be a positive. I've always found in leagues etc that its a quiet time as people go away, spend time with family etc..

The race will be 30 min in the GTE's. This is just a first look at how the hosted servers work, no official results, I can set it up for private Q like the raceControl races have been with the short formation lap as well. I will know more when I actually go live with the server ..
All are welcome. we will be using the default SRO PW for anyone who simply wants to join in .. The event is also up at SimGrid & this is also just a test, a few members have signed up at SG but the event is all messed up as it won't let me edit it to the 30 min GTE only ..it's showing multi class with 45 min so please bear with us as we figure this out .. We're building this plane in the air so to speek!
