LMU Test Runs race 2

Registration​

 

Round 2 for the LMU test series is open for registration!
Race Date: Friday 12-27 @ 20:00 GMT.
20 min P, 10 min Q, 30 min race @ Algarve!
The race server will go live at 20:00 GMT on race day.

Register for the event @SimGrid to test their results system!

Ok, when I built the championship I ticked that box as it was just going to be a one-off.. I looked and can't change it unless I build a new championship.. & I will do that for the next rounds, for now, don't worry about it. As long as you register here on the site you are good to go in any car you choose.. Just register at SG in the car it says to so it lets you in .. This is all a learning experience for us we're not using any results ..we are processing them to get it all set up, but not posting them!

 

I was able to change it so you can now change cars at SG.

 

Is it mandatory to go through SimGRid to take part in the race, or can you just go to the server in LMU if you have the details?

 

It's not mandatory, It's just testing ..

What are we testing?

With SG we can use the 'auto-join code' that puts you right in the server without having to search or add the PW, it does that for you, it also auto loads all the results, but you need to be registered for the race at SG for it to work ..

These tests are also to see how the rented server works to check out our options for hosting LMU events.

If you don't want to participate in SG testing, you only need the PW to join the server.

We are not sure how much we can do using just our website, but so far it looks like things should work out fine.

Besides all the cool features for leagues, The best part about SG is the worldwide promotion you get when you host your events there.

I think if you signed up for round 1 your already signed up for round 2 ..but I'm not positive ;-)

Once we start an official series championship all participants will need to be sro members ..

I just tried it and it works for me. After registering, you can select "manage registration" to select a car.
