Thanks to everyone... I'm now registered for this race and if nothing comes up I'll be there at the start. Just for your information, I'm not a pro, just a rookie. I have a question... I wanted to go to the Practice Server but I can't find one... are there specific times? Because I can't find the server, or is the server not online?
Hi Ertan and welcome to SRO. We have many members here who do not consider themselves "Pro", so do not think you will be in any way disadvantaged by your experience. The server is running for this event and has been for several days. Are you looking for it on the Community Servers tab? Also enter "SRO" in the search/filter box and you will see all currently running servers.
I have a question... can I see my Practice Times here on the homepage when I have done practice laps? Are the times transferred to the homepage? ... Sorry, GOOD MORNING
I probably should have paid attention to fuel usage when on track. It will make a 60min race? There is no refuelling set on the cars and max fuel in the setup estimates 20 laps!
Although the fuel strategy is greyed out in the garage menu you can still refuel in the race by choosing how much in the onboard pit menu.. I'm averaging around .2 .3 per lap with no boost so its going to be close ..prob need a splash & dash to finish...
HELLO all, I deeply apologize for my absence at today's race. I mistakenly thought the race was scheduled for 8 PM, and I only just realized it started at 6 PM. I feel terrible for not showing up on time, and I sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding, and I will make sure to double-check the schedule in the future. SORRY...
Grats Robin! nice Win!! Super fun cars! After falling to the back lap 1 I was hoping for someone else to fall back to race with The fuel seemed to be a "no issue" lol and those tires!! I want those on my daily driver! However, if you think about it, the Hard compound should have no prob doing a 1 hr stint.. but these might have lasted 8 hours lol ..
All our races use GMT/BST as the reference point for race times, but when you registered at SRO if you entered the country you are actually based in, then on the race page it will show you the local time as it will be for you. Sorry you missed your debut, but there will be plenty of other races waiting for your enjoyment.
Thanks for the encouraging words . But I made my debut at the LMU test run on January 3rd, 2025. I was looking forward to the race, but unfortunately I couldn't take part. I'll definitely be back at the start of the next race.
The "re-arrangement" of the race starting grid order by rF2 was due to the way the cars are structured in the mod, with the several groups e.g. DRMxx, IMSAxx, LMxx etc, rather them all being in one class with a selection of skins. That's not a criticism just an observation, as we have seen this structure in other mods before. I don't know enough about mod creation to understand why it's done this way, but the effect for us when trying to run a single class race is what we saw yesterday on the grid. We could work around it if everyone agrees, by running a slow enough, single file formation lap and asking everyone to position their car into their Qualified position. Comments please?
