    * added more enginelife (from 8280 to 25500, to withstand longer races)
    * added adjustable rpm limit in setup (250 rpm intervals)
    * adjusted WearRate (TBC)
    * added override class to "GR.5" (solution to class problem)
    * tried to decrease pitstop fuel time. (from 0.8 to 1.2 L/sec)
    * added pitstop tyre option front/rear linked.
    * added postive toe to front setup (can affect saved setup values)
    * added negative toe to rear setup (can affect saved setup values)

    Hey everyone,
    I wanted to share an update with you all. After some consideration, I’ve decided to step away from the Porsche 935/K3
    leagues. The combination of the car I was driving and the track we raced on recently frustrated me to the point where I just lost my passion for the series.
    I hope you can understand my decision. That said, I’m already looking forward to the next challenge and would love to join you for the upcoming IndyCar events.
    See you all back on the track soon! And as I always say: life is a race.

    The Porsche 935/K3 is not the easiest of cars to get to grips with, even for seasoned simracers, so I can understand how you feel Ertan. TBH the Indycars are not easy either, but I hope you can get connected with them :)

    Thank you for your understanding... You're right, the Indy cars aren't easy, but they have more grip and handling. I get on better with the GT3 / Formula cars than with the old cult cars :)

    They seem to like picking difficult cars here! Though I struggled with the Indycar for tyre feel when it starts to slide, i have found these cars a little easier in that regard around RA, as someone who finds rF2 a bit numb. I also need to stop trying to drive them like a modern car! I just dont like Portland as a track which hasnt helped and picking up the flu for the last few days has prevented me putting more practise in.

    Any setup advise? This track is quite different and i always feel rf2 doesnt always respond to setup changes i would think to do.

    No i dont anticipate doing 60mins, just aiming for 30m!

    I've always felt that too Mark and have had endless conversations with others about that particular issue.
    Something that tames the vicious back-end oversteer traits and brake locking! :D I wish I knew but haven't done any specific setup for this track yet.

    My findings on tuning in to Portland, I'm not an expert in setup tuning.
    • Boost is not you friend here, too many turns, so keep it low, it will also save fuel. When adding boost the car changes dramatic in braking distance.
    • soften the antiswaybars.
    • low 3rd and 4th gear.
    • move the weight a bit to the front.
    • brake early
    Attached a few setups, but mine are only mediocre when comparing skills from your laptimes on Road America.

    Most problems come from the fact that classic monster cars have too big engine versus what the car can handle. Brakes are not enough, tyres wont hold it and chassis is too weak.
    So you can not push it or it doesnt like you. Key points are knowing where the weight is rolling aka weight transfer and how and when to give some gas to it.
    Once you get there having consistency its very rewarding.
    Setup has to give you comfort and finding more time, can try to manipulate that weighttransfer so can be earlier on gas.

    Locking the brakes...which wheels lock? Move the balance and if still lock, make your life easier and reduce pressure. I got it at 80% and 54 front 46 rear.
    Susnpensions, dampers and arbs are on the softer side of things.

    I think a lot of the issues with braking are down to the different pedals guys use. I've seen setups using 100% pressure and high front bias setting which for me pretty much locks up the fronts with nowhere near full pedal travel, so how those guys brake to avoid that beats me o_O. I was working on brake settings yesterday but have still not found an ideal combination that stays consistent with tyre temps/pressure/wear.

    I use 100%, but its only because my brake pedal is almost impossible to reach 100% in my wooden diy rig. It's not rigid enough to that force.
    "Normal max" is between 70-90%.

    Q last try was going 1.8.5 but messed up last bit. All so 1st time trying boost and it really caught me by surprise at 1st.
    R was hard. setup was so that had to keep it under certain limits and if cross it, it would upset the car. another factor was my new best friend CrewChief that kept talking and talking and it actually just lifted my pressure all the time. " car behind doing 1.09.2" -- holy shit, " go faster sector 3" --- and so i tried but it went missed braking and to the grass and managed to land car to right side of the track, barely.
    last 10 minutes my brakes just didnt stick anymore but i think it was more of grip from the tyres thus i had some close calls and one piruette in the grass.
    so overall lucky to win it today.
