As an experienced simracing driver, i'm just making suggestions to make this a better place to race, please don't get me wrong! Just think you should be professional and do things to recreate the most real life racing, specially with rFactor2 where every detail counts, but of course final word is with the administrators and i respect that ;)

I will ask Nigel Middleton to set up the server for a formationlap followed by a standing start :)

Thanks to all the drivers that have signed up for supporting this series.
I'm very glad that the series has grown to a proper F1 field. Also glad to see that there are a lot of strong drivers in it. Will make for some exciting racing.

For anyone who has missed it, here are the rules to the series:

    1. All races will be 60 minutes + formationlap time.
    2. Every race will have a "FORMATIONLAP FOLLOWED BY A STANDING START".
    3. The entry fee for members is € 5,-. This will also go in the prize money pot.
    4. At the start of the series, there must be a minimum of 15 signups to proceed. Or else the series is canceled and you get your money back.
    5. Before the start of the series, you can at any time ask for your money back.
    6. Once the series has started, you can not get your money back under any circumstances.
    7. Staf and admins can also race and win prize money. They must also pay the entry fee.
    8. You can pick any car you like for each round.
    9. Damage is set at 50%.
    10. Weather is always dry.

I wish you all a lot of fun at the races and remember to be carefull at turn 1 at the start not to hit anyone. Remember that everyone has put in a lot of time to practise for a good result.

The race was fun while it lasted. Finishing up lap 1 I got a phone notification. Went to reach for the phone to move it out of my line of sight and accidentally downshifted. KaBoom! Race over. Gutted. I'll see ya'll at Zolder stronger than ever! The only way from here is up, haha!

If anyone could not get in the first round because of the missing password, let me know and I will refund your money and pay for you myself.
Those people can still do the series.

I really don't know what happend with the password. I checked it just before the race and I could see the password just fine.
I will let Nigel Middleton look into it. Won't happen again.

Was nice to come back to racing after the birth of my daughter :p despite the lack of practice that was decisive for the outcome of the race...

Having very little time to investigate setup, ended up with a more conservative one (i thought), what revealed to be a disaster. Found the car overheating tires after 6 or 7 laps so the lap times increased substantially, with the problem that i couldn't cool them down, even on main straight, someone had those kind of problems? I found Dino with an impressive pace all race, pushing harder, so i wonder if some of you guys have some special set of tires, or what i did wrong here, because i didn't get it... overheating tires in this mod is very easy!

As if that was not enough got a stop&go penalty which made me lose a lot more time, which reflected the final result...

Nice to race some civilized people who allways let me go when being lapped and with very correct behaviour at all times... and congreatulations to top3 drivers!

Hope to see you next race!

    Cheers all!

Rui, I've asked Nigel Middleton to move your report to the Race Results thread.

Civilized, yes, but some did not played by the rules!

1 - Some drivers used ESC in qualy (you can see it in liveracers' results)
2 - I had some incidents, and to be safe I did a drive trough twice (as stated by the rules). I suspect some drivers, despite causing accidents, did not..

    BTW,
1 - Where can i find the replay?
2 - Will the staff review these accidents/incidentes (or the entire race)?
3 - Must we file protest?

    The race
The race was good but the setup was very bad and the tire strategy was a disaster :)
On top of that, I was punted (i think, i must see the replay) early in the race and got a major flat spot on the tires .

The good thing was that i had some real good fights with some drivers!
I'm really happy to be doing this series!! :D:p
    On to the next one

    Congrats to the winners

    Hello all

This is my first race here

Experience with this GP79 mod only in rF1

Let's start with the fact that I did not know what car I wanted to go - I finally chose Ligier

    Qualifications: P4
Race: A good start and a promotion on P3, but after a while Luis with his tank does not brake ... lose a few positions. I'm happy to go on. A few laps later another adventure with Paulo, we drive 2W, probably did not see me, contact and synchronous ride sideways. I'm chasing again but already on the square wheels.
On the way misunderstanding with Nigel - my Ligier was battered around. I continue to go happily. Pitstop and another chase. Eventually I land on P2
    Score better than driving.

All, thanks for the fun and see you at the next event

Translated from Polish - "google translator" :)
