Congratulations Ken, a well-deserved victory! It was a big mistake to think that I knew this track, but it turned out that this was my first time here in a GT4 and I had only driven a few laps in a GT3. An attempt to find the limit in the race ended in a flight to the wall. I was lucky that there was not much damage and the race could continue. See you on the next track!
Tuff race for me ..crashed out on lap 3 but could broadcast the rest of the race so that was cool.. Grats Ken on the win & Phil Brown and Roman for the podiums!! I do have a question for Jubes 1971 I had to guess that your Julian Care? If not I have the wrong driver in the results lol Hope to see you all in the next one!!
Yes Rob, Jubes1971 is Julian Care! Sorry about the confusion. After I crashed out of the race, I changed my nickname to my real name in the game settings. And sorry Rob, on lap 3 I came around turn 1 and saw you sideways in the road and couldn't avoid you! It was fun while it lasted, and thanks SRO for hosting. That was my first race in AMS2, I'm still getting used to it, and I just used the default setup for the car. See you at the next race!
Man it took way too long to join this series, tried three times and always there was an issue. Steering wheel not connected, surprising update which took too long... And this time my car did not want to steer. Race was not bad, and as Ken said, there is not often the possibility to finish in front if Roman or Julian. It nearly worked but I was one lape short, probably because I found arround a second from quali to race. And although I put some laps more in, it was not enough. Will do it better next time.
Sorry I missed the race. I have been enjoying this series. Took the day off and my wife and I went to a Air and Space Museum about an hour away where they have an F117 NightHawk Stealth fighter on display. Then we went gambling and left up $100. Hope to join in the remaining rounds.
Tough one again in the Audi, hard to lug around this track. Definitely some weight to the GT4s in this sim. Grats to the podium and finishers. I may join the Ginetta Cup support series that seemed to be running at the same time , in the next race, if that's ok @Rob Milliken ?
