Confirmation on the layout we are using (there are 3)?

 

Hey all. This looks fun. I will atleast download the car tonight, but not too sure if I can make the race tommorow. After a short trip abroad, a SSD failure, I have now come down with a pretty bad cold, so not that much energy for racing an hour long yet.

 

Sadly. I have to skip first party.

 

little out of sync today, not really at the same place with the car but mind kept wandering...

R i caught every incident on 1st lap and avoided everyone but then got into pocked of incident and got little hit from behind and everyone just went of..anyhow 1st 20minutes great racing, little doorbumping with fellow finn and eventually i was riding f179 behind Mazurek. DejaVu! löol anyhow damaged my car even more and never really had the confidence go through the elevations on those fast corners and thats where finally spun and broke my car.
Next one will be better, 1st race allways hard.

Note for next time.... please stay in the server until every racer has come over the line otherwise your car is removed from the timing tower and it's very hard to show who finished

Apologies in advance for missing comms for the first 7 mins or so, I had a little bit of an emergency.

 

I was so looking forward to this race. That all went out the window when JPS Lotus pulled out in front of me after a spin on lap 1. It was the same story in the last race of the 60's challenge. My car was not the same after that and I ended up clipping the pit wall lightly on about lap 3 which for some reason must have bent my steering rod because my wheel was at about 30deg after that and handling was all over the place. Had to do a very slow lap to get back to the pits and then had to take a 30 sec penalty for repairing the car. Oh well maybe next time. Hopefully will be better next race.

 

Apologies for causing a bit of the mess on lap 1. Lost the car and then was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rest of the race was fun though. Congrats to Laurent on the win.

 

This was a fun one, the car is so fast around this track.

I didn't expect Kiril to set such a fast lap time in qualifying, it was 7 tenths up from my PB. I decided to come in the pits, put some fresh rubber on and low fuel for a final lap and give it all and I just managed to take pole by less than a tenth, that was very rewarding !

Race start went well and I pulled about 4 seconds on Phil on the first lap already and the gap grew to 10 seconds in a few laps. At that point, considering that Kiril had dropped back I thought I could chill and just control the race. I did see Maddie putting in fastest laps after fastest laps, not sure where that came from as she was quite far back in qualifying. With 40 minutes left to go it was clear that I had to push harder to keep her off. That worked until the last 10 minutes, I lost time lapping cars and also tried to control the gap too much instead of pushing which got me out of the rhythm a bit. On the last lap I certainly felt the pressure as she got a lot closer than I expected. It was close in the end.. but very happy with the win of course ! But still, I should have kept my head down and push a little bit more maybe.

Not sure about setup. After watching the replay (well done Neil!) I saw cars behaving quite differently to mine. I'm questioning my gearing and wing setup. I did use wing 1 myself. According to crew chief I was losing 1 second in sector 1. A bit confused about that.

 

Well that wont happen. Having worked 16 hours in 24h period, then try to race. After it possible to sleep 6-7 hours, depending if want to shower and eat little, and go back to 16 hour shift at work again so im sorry to say that couldnt care less if my race is over

 

All I ask is to just have your car in the server (for 5-10 mins... go take your shower) so I can do the outro and collate the results. If people quit straight away Assetto Corsa will pretty much say they never raced. I can't memorise the whole field. What you see on screen is basically what I have to work from. If I am going to be doing champ points in the outro I need to at least know where everyone finished.
