Have never felt comfortable around here, no idea on lines... 2:11's in the maclaren in a practise sesion.
It definitely has some odd sections. I do find sector 1 with the big esses my favorite sector. The top half of sector 2 can be tricky, but that sector 2 to 3 transition is the tough spot for me, lol.
Havent tried but once and was somewhere 2.13 but lines where totally off. Cant try it before the event either as on little holiday...
I have added an extra 30 minutes to P1 so we have a 90-minute practice session! This means the server will be starting at 17:30 GMT!
In case you have issues joining using the PW (I did, it said I didn't own the DLC), you can use the code= 9GROB only then was I able to join
i coulndt finish it. reason beeing that stupid fanatec quality...apparently loadcells are not well covered and in old house without ground in socket, it gets what ever that mess is called..interference or something innit and causes spiking and that day was today. its half a second everytime it happens so guess i just have to toss that load cell shit out of window and never buy this brand again.
didn't think I would make this race as went to a family birthday party but got back just in time to do a lap in qualy, did not practice and did not have a setup saved from last round so had to use a suck it and see setup, things were going well when I got into 4th out of the first corner from 9th but wrong TC setting meant I spun out further into the lap, good battle with barret but setup was way off so could not keep pace, had to run brake bias at 50:50 to get rid of understeer in slow corners but paid price by spinning in high speed left right complex in sector 1 under braking, robin soon caught me after his drive thru and we had a ding dong battle for last in the final ten minutes.
If you have no earth lead in your house you can get an EMI filter socket that the fanatic plugs into (along with the rest of your rig) to filter that noise out, hope it helps.
I made a mess of this one, Grats to winner and podium, Apologies for the contact, not sure if it was Mark or someone else?, got a drive thru for 2 track limits, @ the back after that, nice fight with Nick at the end.
Man I suck at this track very limited prep time but decided to jump in and have a go Just didn’t have the pace to push at the front I was a rolling road block so I let off let the faster folks through so they could race, settled in for 4th and just did as good as I could with a car that didn’t wanna turn or rotate, managed to stay within a 2 secs of mark but didn’t have enough in the car to do anything more than sit behind, grats to the podium
Apparently i could try wire from pedal and case to waterfilled battery and ground my whole apartment with wires all over the place! Tinfoil windows next But found a socket thingy tho, other is <30 db and other is <60 db, maybe i should just buy the bigger and not try to save again..
Update, wallsocket installed, it should help a little and then i put a wire to water radiator, which is whole building and ground so atm i can actually keep brake at the level which i want without flickering and no spiking. Next step would be remove pedal usb and connect it to wheel base but so far so good.. thank you google, Nick and chatgpt ( which started to pull jokes on me and it freaked me out so much that i quit connection ).
Did get a bit messy on the first lap but wide tracks funnel everyone into a tight corner! I probably should apologise to Robin for the dive, everyone infront checked up much earlier than i was expecting into the corner onto the back straight. If i had known beforehand just how horrific the track limits are but also the rate it thinks youve gained or you try to loose. I got caught out a few times but then had to lift so drastically i lost about a second down the straight.
