Drivers, I got called into work early today and cant make the race ;-( I will set the practice session for 30 min ..someone will need to log onto the server at exactly 17:30 to get the server on time for the 18:00 Q session ..
Ken told the three that were present that the race is postponed and it will be rescheduled. So you might get another chance.
Enjoyed the series, grats to Roman on the win(s) and to all who took part, some great racing overall. Thanks to admin for organising etc.. Will try and make the Porkers but maybe not every week
Not much time to practice and I selected my wing levels based on experience. I thought its Laguna Seca so full wing is the best choice, but oh dear, that car was sketchy. Reduced front wing (18) for the race, and needed some time to get up to speed. Car was the most stable all series, but also slow - not sure why. Anyway, had fun in this series, thanks for hosting/driving.
It was a strange race for me. Had an early spin but managed to catch back up to the tail of the field. I was having a blast chasing Rob when he went into a half-spin and I couldn't avoid him. The resulting collision knocked me off track. I rejoined in front of Rob and didn't seem to have much damage. Then I noticed the game was telling me I had to give back the position I had gained. Not sure why and was surprised since I had never seen that message before in AMS2. By the time I started to react to the message I had run out of time to give the position back so I think it gave me a drive-through. Very strange. It seemed like only 20 seconds or so from the time of the incident to getting the penalty so I had very little time to react. Frustrated, I decided to call it a day.
I wondered what happened to you.. We have seen that in beta testing, but the sercomestances need to be just right for it. That's a bug that's been hard to squash. Something to do when both cars go off track and one gains a position. ... Im going to have a look at the replay and maybe pass it on to Renato in the beta forum if I see anything that might help squash the bug .. Sry my spin ruined your race
