season opener was great fun, mod ist awesome.. thx for hosting this great series! deserves a bigger grid..

started on mediums with 175l fuel and choose higher boost on back and main straight.
went for softs around lap 35, totally forgot about pit action while pitting that late and overlooked Philipp resulting in slight contact/damage..got DT for speeding also.. poor performance there on my part and really sorry for Philipp!
tyres seemed to last longer in the later stages.
a pity that Matej had an off early.. great battle with him.
    great commentary!
    looking forward to Kyalami!

Great performance, Lars. Grats with the win, that was an excellent run.

I took care of the tires mostly and try not to spin. I was just working on keeping fourth place and bring it home.
Had 1 small spin and a DT for pitlane speeding. So solid result.

Broadcast commentary was great with Rob and Neel. Cool combo. Really enjoyed it. Keep it up, guys!

I must apologise for failing to take the start.
I was persuaded to watch the Wimbledon final at the in-laws, and by the time I got home and got Rf2 fired up there were 3 minutes of qualifying left - I went too fast into turn 1 of my only quali lap and stuck it in the wall.
I also chanced it with WiFi instead of ethernet cable, and got a disconnection. By the time I reconnected, the race was going.
Disappointed, because I had a race setup I was sort of happy with.
I'll be more organised next time, and if not I will unregister.
    Cheers.

If everyone can give a little brief couple of sentences of how their race went, we would like to bring those up at the next round as though we talked to you all in the press pen :)
As spectators we can only guess what happened to some of you.

But we know for a fact.... @Mark Hightree became the CAR-BQ! :D (I should say... that was what @Rob Milliken came up with to describe seeing the inferno).

Did your qually boost affect engine oil/water temps at all?

    Q: a good lap and P3
R: a great start from P3 to P1. I had the same idea as @Lars Hagemann to just use boost 2 on the long straights, but couldn't find a button to map to feel comfortable with changing it all the time. I guess I must get a way to be able to do it, as it would really help with defending/overtaking :)
Lars got back to P1 in first lap already. Then we drove a good race until on lap about 18, I made a tiny mistake on downshifting and lost it. Went slowly into the wall but could not avoid it. Nothing fell off, but suspension was damaged and it took mechanics 2min 30s to repair it! I was then watching over my mediums a lot, to be able to do 40+ laps. Last 10 laps I was left with enough fuel and tyres to put it to boost 2 and made 10 Q laps (with a 5s mistake). I thougt "you better don't" but I just couldn't resist that boost 2 and luckily I made it to the finish line :D
See you all in Kyalami! Hope we get a full grid

A query about the results Mark Hightree retired after 15 laps and Ben Summers retired after 16, but their places are switched?

How do you pronounce your first and last name? I'm sure I said it different so many times last night!

I had good pace on the hards, so I decided to do 2 stints on them. 200 liters of fuel and using boost.

I had done another F1 race a few minutes before and I was already pretty tired. Unfortunately I spun in quali and started from p5, although I could have been p2 at least.
First laps were great fun until I touched the curb in T1 and spun around. I flat spotted the tires, so then the rest of the race was chasing @Bjoern Hagemann.
Later as I was closing I pushed too much and had a big skid where I flat spotted my tires again. I was closing the gap, but then I lost a lot of time from lapped cars, who didn't seem to care or know about blue flags.
Congrats @Lars Hagemann , great pace!

At the end of the race my right foot was swollen

How can I tell it by writing? :p
    Dak-sko-bler Ma-tej :D
Rob pronounces Dakskobler surprisingly well, only the first "k" is missing.
Thanks for carring, but I really don't mind about pronounciation ;)

That was Fabio not me ;) (Rewatched the replay, was not sure if I missed that)
    Anway, congrats to your victory.

There were some doubts, but it seemed pretty stable, regardless which boost mode.

To be honest, I know it is not Matäush or so (Robs version), but I heard that so often lately, it getting harder and harder for me to say it otherwise. :D

To my race, not much to say, I was compromised, so I had to miss practice and was not to confident to start the race. I took me a while to get up to speed, although still not that fast - the car felt good and it was basically a nearly flawless race. I regained the positions I lost at the start, only one was sort of a fight, the rest was pick up the pieces. It will be hard to repeat that, even though I will try to push a bit more in the next round.

As mentioned in an early post I was a 100 km from home in a car that wouldn’t start while buying a new car for my partner. I would have made the race start but I was following someone back home who didn’t give a toss about my race schedule.
