Thats what happened to me as well on the same corner of the last lap which cost me 4th, also ran brakes at 1. Good battle anyhow.

I was doing '29s before, but you pushed me into doing 1.27.100 to catch you. That's when I learned to drive the car at the limit. Why are you not finishing the season?

Wow I didn't know this was even modelled! Spectacular off though. I didn't think a missing front nose would have caused your accident, good to know.

    For drivers blowing their engines:

    1. Make sure your radiator is open far enough. You should not go beyond 112 degrees.
    2. Don't go all the way into the red with the revs. Orange is far enough. Red stresses the engine too much over time.
    3. Don't flat shift through the gears. Lift your foot when shifting up or use the clutch.
    4. And biggest mistake ... Don't shift down too quickly. Give the revs a chance to come down far enough before shifting down. If you strangle the engine long enough, it will die.
    5. If you boost a lot, make sure you cool enough.

Nah, the first time I felt a knock at the back when I braked (normal pressure) and I spun losing the nose. First I thought someone had punted me, but there was no one there.
Then I thought I had locking rears.
I decided to go on with 1 lap to go, totally ignorant of the fact I had no brakes anymore. That made the DNF.

We did think on broadcast that it was a mistimed downshift locking the rear axle because you both did handbrake turns. Wish there was a visual representation of the brakes going. I guess in those days when brakes go it would be sparks because brakes weren't carbon yet?

    And a cloud of smoke ... :p
You only know afterwards when the reason for the DNF is shown in the result list on "Session timing".

Fun fact.... it says Bruno retired from suspension problems. I would say the engine fireball might have more of a problem :D

Well, It was a good race, I could pass Vd Geest at Piratella uphill and my 4th position was safe. But when track became dry I made mnistake putting medium tires and some lapped cars aproached dangeroulsy to me and I decided pushed my pace when I spun at Acqua Minerale downhill and crashed remaining 15 laps.

Attention: It was conflict pit position in Toleman and Alfa Romeo boxes. When I stopped to pits there was an Alfa in pit in the position. Please check for next race.

I know the car mod doesn't have pitgroups assigned to the cars/drivers. Unless it's an overlap in the track mod AI pitbox file. The only way to possibly solve it without too much intervention would be to have "PitOrderByQualifying = false" set to true when server mod is made.

Another solution might be running a batch command when all drivers are on the server using a "/pitbydriver" command:
Teams should share the same spot. But I am unsure if any of the adjustments above would fix the issue.

I have been trying to find a script I saw someone used that checked for shared pitboxes on a server, but so far coming up blank.

Both incidents were caught by the broadcast, although Robs seemed ab bit confused, you, Jacob and I were not celebrating (yet). Still, thanks for the work guys.

To my race, I gambled a bit by going to a full downfoce set up, because that was the only setting that worked with a track 100% wet. So I was not worried, that I was a sitting duck on the straight and also not that really fast in the beginning, when the track was dry. And as expected, I caught up when it poured down but when I noticed that it stopped raning earlier than expected and the track was only 60% wet, I knew I was in trouble for the rest of the race.

I had a 25 sec or so gap to Jacob, who put the hammer down and closed down on me. I tried to push too, but as Bruno, I have to say the medium was also the wrong tyre, when the stint is only 20 laps long. In the end I got lucky, one lap more and Jacob would have had me. And with the bad luck of Nick, Bruno and John I got fourth somehow. Not well deserved but you have to take what is left on the table. Although it was a bit frightening/impressive, how much faster the top two (lets sawy top three) were, congrats guys.

..that was probably the most intense and immersive race so far for me, due to weather settings, shifting with h-shifter about 25times a lap and battle it out with Kostas whole race!

had blown engine twice at tosa in warmup, perhaps by shifting from 5th to 3rd or 4th to 2nd...?! apparently better to switch through the gears..

lowered rear wing spontaneously before race start but "race engineer forgot" to lengthen 5th gear...:D ..resulting in rev light flashing up in slip stream already at tamburello , had to lift once or twice till tosa to prevent "friendly fire" :p

first lap no incident..! great drive by all of you!

    looking forward to Dijon
