    You know….sometimes my luck. lol.
Got a few days off work, fancied a race with no pressure, nit feeling tired after a normal work day.
Connected the laptop and connected the pedals to the CSW wheelbase to see if that’ll stop the pedal spiking issue in the game.
Went to switch on the wheelbase…nothing. The power supply has gone. lol.

Tried a new cable, different power socket. No green light on the supply so it’s definitely kaput.

Oh well, at least Fanatec make power supplies for this wheelbase still. It’s a good ten years old and they don’t last forever.

Wasn’t expensive. About 25 Euros so all good. Should be with me in a few days. :)

First of all I'd like to make a public apology to Gerhard which I've already done privately, for our contact when running down to Turn 1 at the start, and also to anyone else who got involved. The replay made it look like a deliberate, hard contact but that was far from it. One of those accidental mistakes we all make from time to time.

Ultimately I had to stop for repairs which didn't go as I thought I had set my pit strategy. I ended up getting both a dash of fuel, full tyre change and aero/suspension repairs rather than just the latter. After the stop the car felt very over-steery everywhere and it wasn't until I noticed later that the tyre pressures were totally not what I was using in my race setup, being something like 20% higher. I think the pit strategy must've used default pressures, so there was nothing I could do but drive very carefully under braking and through many of the turns. As a result my fastest race lap was way off my practice times, but being a couple of laps down after the stop, it wouldn't have made any difference to the race result.

Well done Brian, great performance! Roman once more outstanding. But this time he had a little luck! He
started once more from the last position. Its hard to pass at this circuit, it took him some laps to overtake
Brian. If Ken and me and also Jose would have survived the start, he would need much more effort to
    take the lead.
Hope we can do a great finisher at Watkins, Dan and Björn will also be there!!!

I was hoping they wouldn't block me too hard on this track, but in any case, I wouldn't attack too hard. If you keep a good pace, yes, you can hold your position against a GT4. Even at Oulton Park, that was possible.
