Track is defintely fun, probably not so much with traffic, but yeah part of the game.
I really thought I had everything under control, even turn nine. And then, with five minutes to go, I got traffic paradise. Lost a ton of time (also not sure, how often I had to lap John in the last turn, three or four times?) and then I hit that damn sausages curb ... A bit frustrating, at least I lost not more with my spin after locking up and giving Björn a slight hit (sorry). Result is still ok, race pace was nothing special, not fully sure why.

    Anyway, congrats winners/podium.

Oh, and thanks for the broadcast and removing the flags ;)

Absolutely gutted! Running 3rd in class till I had my one and only off, then held a steady 4th for almost the whole race. But I had to pit for 3 litres of fuel. No tyres, no damage, just 3 miserable litres!
Pitted a few minutes before the end of the race, but must have overshot my mark. Sat in the box for a while before realising nothing was happening. Didn't want to risk reversing, so eventually just took off then pitted again next lap. Got the fuel, but saw I had about 140 seconds of repairs! I'd clipped the side of the car entering the pits the first time (my one and only contact). Thought nothing of it at the time. Barely noticed it happening and it didn't affect the car at all.
So I sat there fuming, listening as the cars went screaming past. Eventually I thought, 'press the tilde button you idiot'! So I took off my headset, reached for the keyboard, but managed instead to nudge it onto the floor and into 'the void'. Finally found it again and was just about able to reach it. But then I discovered I no idea where the effing tilde button was on that keyboard! So in frustration and total panic, I started pushing any and every button, but eventually had to give up in defeat and take my punishment.
Dropped from 4th to last :( Made up a place on the final lap due to Ben unfortunately running out of fuel. (It sucks buddy. Especially on the last lap. I feel for you :()
After not even being able to start at Ascari, because, for some unknown, unbelievable reason, my car simply decided it wasn't going to go any further than qualifying! At least I got to race tonight, but I'm beginning to think this series has it in for me :D
I should be laughing about it. Maybe tomorrow I will :) But in all honesty, it was, as ever, great fun.
    Congrats to Toni and Phil.

You can reverse a few meters and they will service you nevertheless.

Damn Gilles, you deserved better after a good effort. Normally, you just hit the spacebar to cancel repairs.

Was worried about getting a drive through for reversing in the pit lane.
Well that would be a damn sight easier :D

Dont worry about getting a drive thru for reversing in the pits. its a DQ. Happened to me at Hockenheim.

Well ... you shouldn't do the whole pitlane in reverse ... but a few meters is no problem.

    RESULT PROCESSING DELAYED

I can't process the result because someone registered for the Porsche 917 on the signup list decided to drive a GT car on the server, without changing the car class on the signup list.
The automated result recovery can't handle that of course. I have to wait for Mark Hightree to fix this.

Just being curious (there is no need to rush), would it help you, if that particular someone corrects his mistake manually (unregister and register again in the right class) and then you could trigger it again? Or is it broken from the moment, you tried to upload the results the first time?

That's not possible at the moment Philipp, but thanks for the suggestion.

@John vd Geest - did you run out of fuel on that final corner? I pitted about 7-8 minutes from the end to make sure I had enough fuel, but put in too much, so came out behind you.

    Hi George,
No, I made a mistake. When the clock ran out to zero, I had less fuel than 1 lap to go and I thought that Toni Talvitie, the winner, crossed the line before the clock ran out, but he didn't. He was just in front of us and finished after the clock ran out. Soooo ... I wrongly thought I had to do another lap with not enough fuel and I slowed down in the last corner to start saving ... It's just funny ... But world peace is not at stake, so no problem. Well done! :)

Ah so I wasn't imagining things when you crossed the line!

    No, good call.
But I had plenty of fuel to get to the finish line full throttle from the last turn. I just imagined I had to do another full lap and I was short on that.
