Yes we have already looked at and tested this app and will likely be going forward with it. It just need some time on integrating it within our webpages and our main programmer is very short on time currently. We should get there soon hopefully.

I installed rF2 on my latest gaming computer, which I’ve had for a couple of years.
This is the first time I’ve installed rF2 on it, and I still have a lot to learn to make the
game run properly. The first thing to fix is the steering wheel, which has three issues
that need to be solved. This video explains what’s happening with my wheel and shows
what I need to do to stop the behavior shown in the short clip.

I don't have experience with this wheel Doug, but maybe others do. However a quick Google search came up with these:

For optimal performance with the Logitech G29 in rFactor 2, configure both the Logitech G HUB software and the in-game settings as follows:

In the Logitech G HUB software, create a dedicated profile for rFactor 2 with the following settings: Operating Range set to 900°, Sensitivity at 50, and Centering Spring turned off. This ensures the wheel's maximum rotation is correctly recognized by the game.

In rFactor 2's in-game settings, navigate to Options > Calibrate Controls > Force Feedback Settings and set:

    • Type to Wheel
    • Smoothing to 4 (a lower value provides more detail but can cause distracting vibrations if set too low)
    • Car specific multiplier to 100%
    • Minimum steering torque to 11.0% to enhance the feel of weak forces
    • Force feedback strength to 100%
    For Steering Settings, set:

    • Rotation limit mode to Software
    • Max wheel angle mode to Custom
    • Default max wheel angle to 900 degrees
    • Range set by vehicle to Checked (this enables soft lock and matches the real-world steering angle of the car)
    • Speed sensitivity to 0%
    • Exaggerate yaw to 0.0%
    • Look ahead to 0.0%
To monitor force feedback clipping, use the free SimHub application to create an on-screen FFB meter. This helps prevent sustained clipping during cornering or braking by allowing you to adjust the Car Specific Multiplier based on real-time feedback.
