As I sat in the virtual cockpit, preparing for the RaceRoom weekly event at Monza, excitement and nerves coursed through me. The iconic Monza circuit is known for its high-speed straights and challenging chicanes, pushing drivers to their limits. With the Porsche 992 roaring to life, I couldn't wait to test my skills against other racers in this adrenaline-pumping competition.

The green flag waved, and the race was on. As the pack of cars thundered down the straight towards the Variante della Roggia chicane, I made a critical error. Rusty from my time away from the track, I missed the chicane entirely, losing precious time and allowing a couple of competitors to slip past me. The consequences were swift - a 10.8 rating drop, a harsh reminder of the unforgiving nature of competitive racing. But I shook it off, determined to make up for lost ground in the remaining laps.

Amidst the chaos of the track, one racer stood out - Ken. With skill and precision, he navigated the twists and turns of Monza, ultimately crossing the finish line in second place. His performance was a testament to the hours of practice and dedication that go into mastering the art of virtual racing. As I congratulated him on his podium finish, I couldn't help but feel inspired to push myself even further in the next race.

Looking ahead to the main event tomorrow, I knew that strategic pit stops would play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the race. With four pit stops planned just for fuel, timing and efficiency would be key. I made a mental note to practice my pit stop routines, ensuring that every second spent in the pits would count towards gaining an advantage over my competitors.

The RaceRoom weekly event at Monza was a thrilling experience, filled with adrenaline-fueled moments and heart-pounding action. Despite the challenges and setbacks, I emerged from the race feeling invigorated and eager to improve my skills for the next competition. With the Porsche 992 as my trusty steed, I knew that the road ahead would be paved with excitement, competition, and the relentless pursuit of victory.

Do you remember Scuderia Team Ken? Goes way back to when we started Sim Racing and still to see their team name today.

It doesn't stand out to me Doug. Who were the members, do you remember them?

I don't remember their names, I think they were racing with Race 07 on Kenny's races at R2P.
