Le Mans Ultimate (LMU) has won the Poll for the simulator to drive for the Q2 SRO 2026 Championship.
With this Poll you can decide what car class or car classes you want to drive in that second LMU series.

My first livery in LMU for Lorne and the Martini racing team. The Oreca is a bit interesting, there are "gaps" between the panels which makes drawing lines quite tricky....lol

It was only until I looked at the official liveries in the game you notice straight lines that curve, etc.

Anyway, it was a good exercise in how LMU works, and I think it looks good :) I'll work on my own livery for Le Mans maybe.

I haven't been able to do ay practice this week but Monza is of course a circuit I know well, will see how practise goes. If I feel like I'll be a mobile chicane or a danger I'll drop out.

Pretty happy with that. I tried something for my qualifying setup which did work but didn’t want to risk it in the race in case I burnt up the brakes, or the car would be too unstable, etc.

Solid race, a few stupid mistakes like I overran the first chicane and got a drive through but otherwise ok.

Not sure what happened with Lorne towards the end. All of a sudden he was losing 3 seconds of pace per lap, whether he was carrying damage I don’t know but a shame he dropped out.

Shame we are getting low LMP2 numbers, would be nice if we got about ten or so for each race but we’ll see what the next round is like.

Well done to everyone who finished. Great race. :)

..grats to finishers , specially Philipp .. finally succeed! shame Hue crashed at Ascari...

start in gt3 was a little chaotic.. seems s.o. (Dino?) didnt activate speedlimiter right before start, running to slow and creating traffic jam behind.. so when red lights turn on and telling you to hold speed simply acitvate speedlimiter until green.

managed to avoid the taner missile at turn 1 then I was trading tenths with Philip so could not let off the pace, one lapse of concentration at turn 1 and spun taking too much kerb on entry and then it was downhill from there, forgot what the pit limit was and oversped into pit lane and then topped it off by missing my pit box looking down at the speedo, came in to do a 10 sec stop & go only for a car to be in my way loosing even more time, could not chase down the leaders as had to save allot of fuel to not need a splash at the end.

Well done Phillip for not making any mistakes and Taner for getting another lap out of the first stint to finish second.

Thanks guys. It was about time to get a race without too many flaws but when I saw that purple car flashing in my mirror before Rettifilo ... that scared me a lot, luckily no harm done.
Nick clearly was the fastested P2 on track, I tried to stay with him but there were two issues. This car is very tricky under braking (here I spent the most time fine tuning my set up, playing with brake force and bias, so that is stable to avoid early locks but still fast enough). Somehow the gap stayed at +-5 secs, until I suddenly went into the lead. Of course avoidng mistakes helps, but my race was not without its flaws. Had a little spin and had to cut the turn twice, but apart from that I avoided the bigger ones (speeding, bigger spin, crashes - been there)
However, there was still the second issue - fuel milage. By trying to stay with Nick, mine was a bit too high, had to go into the pits a lap before halftime. Nick stopped at the same time but Taner went a lap longer and was just +- 10 sec behind. Even without Nick in the mix, that was a threat (so good job) and even more so, when the amount of lap projection went up from 54 to 54.1 That meant I was not only one lap short, in fact two. As I was not sure how tight it really was to start this additional lap.

So I was trying to manage that, also by beeing even more conservative at lapping GTs (except for Lars, who was/is very gentle). In the end I could have waited the 5 secs in front of the finish line but I was not aware of that, I had saved the amount of fuel. I hope nobody had a problem with doing another lap :D

So congrats podium finishers GT/P2 and see you at the next one.

Well done all. Sorry for the chicaneless drive through. I lost my vision blocked by cars on the left hand side and no reference left brake point when I was aware, so cut the chicane on the right not to make any disaster then let the cars run by me.
I tried to not to cook the front left and managed well in frst stint. In the second stint I had advantage 10 s leaving the pit and also aware of Philip got pit a lap earlier that could have short fuel but he managed well and completed his stint. When I left the pit in fornt on Nick, I saw he got penalyzed so not realy threat at the back then motivated lap times, front left and shorten the gap with Philip expected splash of fuel but not occured. Congratulations all. Hope we see more P2 at Lemans.

Thanks for a great race all. Plugged away near the back trying not to over drive and spin like I have done in the last 2 races. Went for a conservative 4 tyre stop at half way. In hindsight I could have got away with just 2 but I was too chicken Very surprised to find myself in 6th at the end. Hopefully there will be another great turnout for LeMans.

Great start for me, kept out of trouble and was consistent right up to the first stop. Had a lot of fun keeping Barrett behind me until he had an off which gave me a bit of breathing space.

Then the old LMU pitstop issues kicked in, I left my stop 1 lap too late, and ran out of energy, so got flagged for a stop/go. Did my fuel/tyre stop but in hindsight I should not have changed tyres as they were ok. Then next lap I did the stop go which you have to change from no to yes in the pit menu to accept before pitting. I was sad to find it was 100 seconds, which seems a bit harsh . I guess I'm used to my dash showing me fuel/time left and I haven't been able to find a simhub setting that shows LMU energy as I think I need that on the dash in flashing CAPITALS for the next race :)

Managed to unlap myself a bit but should have finished higher, probably 6th... I will have to sort out the pit issues for the next race...

Grats to all finishers and podiums.
