Drivers, this poll has been reopened. Please vote for what to drive for series 2 of the SRO-WS so we can start building the series! ;)

Do you guys really want to drive the Hypers? It's leading the poll still.
Observations from series one have the multiclass series pretty lopsided, with GT3s having the best turnout. Only 3 or fewer LMPs have made a finish, with only 5 or so showing up but decent numbers in the GT3's, so I think we all need to be driving in the same class... at least for the sake of the championship, just thinking about points here ...
I think the next series should be a single class series either way ..
I wouldn't even say no to a single manufacturer series .. Porsche cup style or a Ferrari challenge ...
You can change your votes guys!! :D

If limited seats in classes ( like 10 Hyp -10 gt3 ), would be mounted in all classes equally I predict. Single class racings are held all year with other sims in SRO anyway. Allthough, at least once a month, special races would be held in multiclass hyp-gt3. Then, everyone would be happy : )

The problem is with multi-class races for a year-long championship, the points are the same for each class, which puts the players, in this case, the GT3's, at a disadvantage with points paying out 12 to 14 possitions. With only 4 or 5 LMPs showing up, the last-place LMP driver gets 5th place points, which puts them ahead of all the gt3's from 5th on down, even though they finished last in class ..o_O:D..
It was ok at the start of the series with pretty equal sign-ups, but all but 4 or 5 of the LMP drivers just dropped out ..

I like your idea of a 'Special multi-class event' monthly, in addition to a single class series 2 championship bi weekly ..
We just need the drivers ..

I was surprised when you guys opened this poll, because I thought that was already decided but by providing that option it was clearly not. Anyway, the vote is 12:9 for multi-class which defintely has its appeal, although I would not mind if you guys change you decision. Of course some guys will not be happy but that will be always the case.
In addition to that what Taner said, you could also delay the decision. For instance, if there is not enough interest in terms of registrations then the (dramatically) less popular class will be canceled.

Although, registrations can be misleading. As you already said, for the running series we had up to 13 P2s registrated (minus Neil 12). But since Fuji the number decreased to only 5-7 who have turned up, so that we had always the double amount of GT3s. That is a bad ratio and I would understand if you guys take action based on that experience. It is also not the first time that we have this disbalance, the multi class series in rf2 last year, had way less GTs than LMP2s. But of course, it could be different this time.

    GT3 & Hyper are winning ...
I see there is now another vote for the Hypers..:D They are very cool cars & LMU does the best job representing them IMO, so I'm ok with honoring the poll if we can get at least 10 Hyper drivers to commit and not bail after a few rounds .... ?o_O
    new poll ;-)

VOTE HERE> Can anyone chime in and commit to taking the Hyper?

I think we miss something about multiclass that is always the leading class cars ( lmp1-hyp ) are always less count even in the real. That is the normal when comparing to the real, gt3 x 2 counted to the prototype class. So, basicly p2-hyp, prototype would be enough 6-10 cars for each race. If any protoype chooser complain about number of joining cars, then this argueing is ok. But some of protoype lover still there and want to drive/test/taste LMU's opportunity ( to drive a hyp ), would not be stoped : ). Actually, people who like to drive hyp-p cars should include/decide this. If everyone is happy what to drive, then we should go ahead.
A final word, I will be joining what ever will be concequency. I am very happy to be in SRO society from the beginning. ❤

I'm happy with either single class gt3 or a mixed group but if there's not enough hypers then go with the single gt3

Good call Hue I feel the same ;-)
I think we will build it as GT3/Hyper series, then adjust if we don't get enough Hyper signups to single class GT3 ..
