The lights went out really quickly for some reason but had a decent start. Built a lead of about 12 seconds to 2nd place but then forgot where to brake for one of the corners and went down the runoff but I kept the lead. After that, it was a fastest lap battle with Julian. I seemed to be faster through the corners but he was much faster on the straights. I pushed far too hard on the last lap but managed to grab the fastest lap and a grand slam, so happy with that. Congrats to the podium. Looking forward to Charade :D

I didn't do too well in qualifying, but I managed to move up from 6th to 3rd at the start! I think everyone was a little surprised by the start.
I then got in touch with Romain, “my Matra teammate”: we decided to try making a blue livery for both of our cars for each round as a tribute to the Matra MS11. We think that as French drivers, it’s a pretty cool tribute, and it also helps us stand out from the identical cars while keeping a historical touch.
Anyway, as you can see on the broadcast, we’re only teammates in terms of livery—not at all on the track. We swapped positions several times and really battled it out. I eventually managed to pull ahead and gave it my all to try and catch up to Maddie, but she was just too fast! It was really great battling it out to see who would get the best lap time in the race.

Remember.... not matter the "mechanical failures" setting, you can still pop an engine. As evidenced by someone on fire in one of the practice sessions at Bathurst :D

This was my 200th start in the league, so it was nice to get a podium finish.

    Thank you, Phil. ;):(

However, everything else didn't go according to plan. Qualifying was a disaster; at the start of the race, someone pushed me slightly off the track. Then Toni crashed on a bridge, and I collided with Toni, sustaining minor damage. It turned out I had started to lock up a wheel under braking, which forced me to adjust the front suspension a few more times on that one particular fence.
A flat tire, steering wheel vibrations for almost an hour. And worst of all, a poorly tuned gearbox. I think I could have gotten more out of the Ferrari.

    Thank you for racing.
