Will be practicing online for this later.

Not sure I will be getting anywhere near Rui, but see what we can tap into tonight!

Lately i found that higher wings work better on this circuit, good lines and good corner exits ;)

what values do you use? I've got 26, 7, 10. works quite well for me. still need more practicing to have better lap times ;) if anyone interested, I've got this setup from Jaap (SRS series). it seems to be really universal :)

If it works don't change too much, also you have the setup of the fastest driver with this car, so...

Yeah Jaap seems to be top of all the RSR times so nice find with that setup.

Be on an hour before qual to find some more time tonight.

Cracking race for me, braved it out to get past Rui in the first couple of corners, then guess he had an issue as he dropped to fourth.

Concentrated on making as bigger gap as possible guessing he would work back through the field and sure enough he slowly hunted me down until the last couple of laps where he got past and I could not quite make my straight line speed work on the start straight to get back past.

Well done Rui but hopefully that was not just you driving slow haha

I misjudge my braking on the first lap and hit Ayastuy and maybe thats why he hit Rui too, thats why i had to dive straight to the pits for a drive through penalty. Im 10th place after the drive through and i have to pass a lot of guys and back up to 3rd.
Apologies for the contact Ayastuy and Rui.

    Good morning people!

Enjoyed a lot yesterdays race, i'm glad people learned how to drive those cars, times and racing are much closer now...

Like Lorence said in the above post, i was hit on first lap, from Ayastuy car that was bumped by Lorence, at least he had good fairplay and took his own penalty. Despite this (of course accidents happen), people need to be focused when there are more cars around, just do it like me, brake earlier to avoid an accident. Not meaning you can't go for a gap, but allways think if it's a viable option to attack or prevent an accident and take a defensive maneuver.

Saw some more things i didn't like and are agains the rules, like "a driver" weaving from side to side when i was trying to find a side (lol) to pass him... not the right behaviour IMO, next time i will protest! Apart from this i found some very correct people on track, specially those being lapped, thanks for that!

Nick Phillips gave me great opposition, he was in a very good pace and it was hard to reach him after a gap of something like 10 seconds, but i just drove the safest way to avoid any more mistakes or excessive tire wear that could cost me at least a fight for the first place! Thank you very much @Nick Phillips for the challenge!

Thank you all for the great event and we'll meet again at Monza (i hope)!

    Cheers guys! ;)

    hi guys
yesterday I was actually really upset. I did practice the car, the track and were good with lap times. I looked forward to have a good race.. then I was kicked from the back, out to the sand at T1 just after start. lost at least 30s and the race was over for me. I lost concentration, made a lot of further mistakes and just forced myself to finish it. then I looked to the replay, see others doing also mistakes and realized that if I would not give up and concentrate myself for the rest of the race, I could finish much better. so lesson learnt: "never give up!" ;) anyway I like the this series, the car and hope for more luck next races :) cheers

    Imola Penalties
We want to first give a good sportsmanship mention to Lorence Calpatura for performing a drive-thru penalty after causing a lap 1 racing incident. His example should be followed if you cause an accident. After his drive-thru Lorence was down the order but fought back to finish on the podium.

Mert Kayar has been issued a drive-thru penalty for causing a lap 1 accident that was avoidable. Penalty must be served at the next event within the first three laps of the race.

Dan Houk was under investigation for contact made on lap 1 causing another car to leave the track. The position was given back before the end of lap so no further action taken.

Rui Santos has been given a 5 second penalty for leaving the track and gaining a time advantage. This moves Rui to second place on the podium.

The car contact at the start was mostly nose to tail. It seems there is a high rate of this type of contact so please allow more room especially in braking zones.
