    FUJI SPEEDWAY 1968

Fuji Speedway is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Originally conceived as an American-style superspeedway, it was completed as a road course and opened in January 1966.

In 1966 and 1967, the circuit hosted the Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix as the final round of the FIM Road Racing World Championship. The 1966 race was run on the full track with the banking, which meant that the Honda works team did not take part due to safety reasons; the following year, the race was run on a shorter 4.3 km track without the banked section. In 1966, the track hosted a USAC Indy Car non-championship race won by Jackie Stewart. The track had a 24-hour race in 1967.

After a fatal accident in 1974 on the Daiichi banking where drivers Hiroshi Kazato and Seiichi Suzuki were both killed in a fiery accident that injured 6 other people, a new part of track was built to counteract the problem, and the resultant 4.359 km (2.709 mi) course, which also eliminated 5 other fast corners, proved more successful.

The speedway brought the first Formula One race to Japan at the end of the 1976 season. The race had a dramatic World Championship battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda, and in rainy conditions, Hunt earned enough points to win the title. Mario Andretti won the race, with Lauda withdrawing due to the dangerous conditions. In 1977, Gilles Villeneuve was involved in a crash that killed two spectators on the side of the track, leading to Formula One leaving the speedway. When Japan earned another race on the F1 schedule ten years later, it went to Suzuka instead. The Grand Prix returned to Fuji in 2007 following its renovation.

    What can't you delete?

If you follow these instructions, you should be good.

    GT Revival mod:
If you raced in the Porsche 917 & GT Revival series, you have to Un-install the Steam Series-Patch by Neil Wood.
Go to the link SRO WSC70 and GT Revival Patch and click "Unsubscribe"
After that the GT Revival version nr should read: GTR2.0 in Modmgr. Otherwise, unsubscribe from Neil's mod and unsubscribe from the complete GT Revival mod and subscribe again.

It's no good. Gonna give it a miss.
    Sorry it's so complicated tonight.

    Understood. Last resort ...
You can try uninstalling in rF2 modmanager. Delete all car files that have GTR2.SRO or something with SRO.
Then you will be left with the original files GTR2.0.

Try fixing it before the next race. It's nice if you're there.

I will try again. I spent too much time on it and got frustrated.

Can you upload a screenshot of the mod manager / cars with some of the GTR cars in view so I can see what you have?

Its the issue what i had too.
    Had to:
    - uninstall revival mod.
    - start game and quit it.
    - start game and uninstall every mod that had SRO innit.
    - quit game again.
    - install revival mod from steam again.
    - start game and run updates or whatever.

Bsically i rerun and quit game in every turn before it worked for me.

Wish there would be more drivers. Everyone call your friends!
Our small grid was evenly matched in our class. Only mistake i made was at start when started to watch what polesitter was doing..apparently drive through but at that moment John jettisoned to victory.
Got good slipstreams few times but had to use it to save my fuel and no errors in front. Maybe couple saves done where i was in pretty good spot to see if i get win or not! Well it was not. Great driving buddy!
Fuel tank hit 0 and engine didnt give anything out right on finishline.
    I liked the drive nevertheless!
