I should be able to race this event, but 2 PM my time will be tough to guarantee. I do have AMS2 installed, although I haven’t really raced it yet, so I’m going to practice tonight after you all are asleep. If there’s anything important I should know about AMS2 multiplayer, please let me know. I’m especially interested in any setup tips, or things I should watch out for.
Go to the time trial feature, where you can see the best times for any car/track combination. You can select a ghost car and in most cases you are able to load the setup used to achieve those times.
Good to have you join the AMS2 gang Doug . I suggest you configure an offline test race and you can then check out the start and pit-stop procedures and see how they work. You can't easily set your pitstop requirements on the fly (should you need one), unless you are related to an Octopus! , so look at the options under "Pit Strategy as you can configure multiple options and then more easily select one on the fly. Only other thing that comes to mind is to take care for the first couple of laps as AMS2 tyre warmup takes 2-3 laps to get up to racing temperatures.
Hi Ken, I will manage to race in this series as op went well. Still not 100% recovered but getting there. I have updated / downloaded all updates as computer was off for 2 months. I cant connect to the simracing server on teamspeak. is there an issue or am I missing something? Brian.
Yes there is an issue. We are contacting TS to resolve. Hopefully it will be fixed in time for race tonight.
Sorry, I can't race today. We are under a Tornado watch since 7 am and severe Thunderstorms with possible wind over 80 mph. I got call in to help tie down the green houses and tons of stuff to put away indoors. They did say possible baseball size hail.
